A dense lubricating oil of a specific yellowish-brown color has an impressive set of components, thanks to which the mass literally percolates into the fabric and is fixed in the fibers. Since it is almost impossible to wash off solidol from many items of clothing, it is better to take care of protection in advance in cases when you have to work with the product.
If the same trouble does happen, you can try one of the folk or modern tools, but the chances of obtaining an ideal result are still low. Sometimes, along with a stain from the fabric, paint is drawn, stretched or thinned fibers. Often, things just have to be thrown away after aggressive processing.
Folk remedies against stains from solidol
Most often when working with stains from solidol in the course go improvised funds. If such contamination is detected, it is really better not to pull and immediately attempt to remove the composition from the fiber texture. At home, wash the saltolol in one of the following ways:
- Table vinegar. In half a liter of cool water, we divorce two tablespoons of vinegar. In the resulting composition, we moisten two cotton wheels, which are applied to the spot on both sides and well pressed. We wait for a couple of minutes, after which we begin to wipe the contamination from the clothes, acting so that the stain does not spread. Next, we wash the product as usual with a powder or enzymatic detergent and let it dry out in the fresh air. Turpentine and butter. We take a little butter, knead it in hands until soft and apply to the contamination. We wait about an hour, then we process fat formation with turpentine. After that, immediately erase the thing under the required mode at the maximum allowable temperature.
- Ammonia and gasoline. Option for clothes with already dried stains of solidol. Wadded disk moistened in refined gasoline, carefully wipe them pollution, it should soften. On the wet area, apply a few drops of ammonia and wash the object with a powerful powder, you can even drive it through the machine a couple of times.
- Water bath. We take a little warmed turpentine, we put it on a clean cloth and work on problem areas. We also put a little ammonia on them, after which we hold the fabric in stretched form on the steam from the water bath for 3-5 minutes. Then we erase the product as usual.
- Household soap and margarine. Lightly heated margarine grease stains from the solidol and leave the fabric for 2-3 hours, so that the reagent would work. Next, we wash the product with the help of laundry soap( best of all, tar).
Advice: Contrary to popular belief, dishwashing detergents will be absolutely useless when removing stains from turpentine from clothes. At best, the situation will not change, at worst - pollution will increase significantly in size and become even more resistant to the effects of other reagents.
- Ammonium alcohol with glycerin. With this approach, you can remove stains from solidol, even with a gentle silk or fine wool. In the basin pour warm water, add a tablespoon of glycerin and ammonia, stir. The product is soaked in the solution for half an hour, after which we evaluate the result. If the stain is gone, then the garment should only be rinsed several times in cold water.
- Petrol. A special cleaned product is applied directly to the stain, slightly with its three soft brushes and sent to the laundry. We evaluate the result and, if necessary, repeat the manipulation again.
It should be noted that these approaches can change the color of the fabric, if it is bright or dark. Before you start using any of the listed tools, it is recommended to make sure of its harmlessness on some hidden part of the matter.
Modern compositions of increased efficiency
For those who do not trust folk remedies, or did not receive the desired result from their use, the following approaches exist:
- Stain remover. We take any stain remover that is suitable for a particular type of fabric. We put the composition on the contaminated piece of clothing, soak it out for as long as indicated in the instructions. After that, we take a toothbrush with a soft bristle and three places on which the profile tool was applied. Further, weave the tissue in cool water and, if necessary, repeat the manipulation from the very beginning.
- Car shampoo. Quite unusual, but very effective version of the effect on solidol. We take a little shampoo, without diluting it we put it on traces of technical oil and leave for half an hour. There is nothing to rub, at a specified time just a hollow product in cool water. If the contamination has not come down, then apply the shampoo on a still damp cloth and this time lightly rub it to form a small amount of foam. We are waiting for another half an hour and again rinsing a thing in the cool water. After such an impact, education must come down, otherwise the tissue will not be able to save anything.
