After the recommendations to refrain from traveling to Egypt were removed, thousands of Russians rushed to their favorite vacation spot. According to the forecasts of the leading domestic tour operators, Egypt will become the most popular holiday destination in 2014.This African state will leave behind Thailand, Italy, Spain and Turkey.
2. Relaxation of the visa regime
Since January 1, 2014, a visa-free regime between Russia and South Korea was finally introduced. The authorities of both countries expect that the tourist flow in both directions will increase several times. In addition, there is reason to hope that in 2014 there will be progress in the negotiations on the abolition of visas to European countries.
