Director's spacious metropolitan apartments
Not so long ago, the head of Tabakerka boasted that he had finally found the apartment of his dreams and had already moved there after the renovation.
The main criteria for choosing housing
Vladimir Mashkov calls himself a maximalist and conservative. He developed several principles from which he never deviates. In particular, the following was important for the director when choosing an apartment:
- the height of the ceilings is ideally at least three meters;
- panoramic glazing;
- beautiful view from the window to nature or metropolis.
All other nuances were not so important. The actor could handle many of them on his own. The director has golden hands, and he perceives construction work as a useful hobby.
As a result, Vladimir Mashkov bought an apartment in one of the most wonderful districts of Moscow - on Plyushchikha. The exterior design of the house is made in the spirit of romantic France, this prompted the actor to choose a style solution for his apartments.
Elegant apartment design
The walls in all rooms of the apartment are painted with eco-friendly gray paint, with the exception of bedrooms. For her they chose wallpaper in a wide vertical strip in beige undertones. IN living room delivered cozy upholstered furniture with snow-white upholstery, made in Italy according to individual designers' sketches. The ceiling around the fresco and doorways were decorated with ancient openwork stucco molding.
A stylish black chandelier with candle light bulbs acts as a bright accent in the living room. For decorating windows, we chose translucent snow-white curtains. The interior decoration in the spirit of French romanticism is complemented by an elegant sofa and a high closed rack, on the shelves of which classical literature is collected.
The apartment had an additional bonus - a luxurious glazed balcony with openwork wrought iron railing along all the apartments. A cozy corner for relaxation was created on the loggia and a small tea table and low armchairs were placed. In the bedroom, on a wide step, several decorative pillows, where you can relax without leaving the loggia.
The huge American villa of Vladimir Mashkov
For some time, the director worked in America, so he decided not to rent an apartment, but to buy his own house. After a short search, he was offered a small mansion, decorated in the style of minimalism, located in Los Angeles in one of the most exclusive areas - Santa Monica.
The villa is small by American standards. But you hardly notice this, since the interior is thought out as functionally as possible. The ex-wife of Vladimir Mashkov was involved in the design of all rooms, with the exception of the office.
The actor did not entrust the design of the workspace to anyone and independently arranged his male den. Cabinet decorated in a traditional classic style. The walls and ceiling are sheathed with solid wood panels. The oak furniture is made by local craftsmen. The director admitted that he had long wanted to equip his own hermit space.
Another room - the library - is also not quite traditionally decorated. Oak shelves are installed along the walls, on the shelves of which almost the entire book collection of the director is placed. Doors with high-strength glass canvases are decorated with forged openwork patterns.
All other rooms are decorated in a modern minimalism in light colors with a minimum of decor. Matching tone parquet board, collection tiles are laid in wet areas. Panoramic windows offer incredible views of the coast and the Pacific Ocean.
In the backyard there is a small house with a tennis court, hammam and a lovely seating area. The director's friends sometimes stop there. There are sun loungers around the pool and natural rattan wicker furniture.
