Where in Russia live well? The answer to this question is provided by rating of cities in Russia according to the quality of life level of 2017 .The list was compiled by the Center for Strategic Studies of the company Rosgosstrakh, which conducted a study of the major cities of the Russian Federation in terms of the good of a common citizen. At the same time, several criteria were taken into account, from the state of housing and communal services and the quality of medical care to the work of the traffic police and the alleged level of corruption of city authorities.

The list of the best cities for living in Russia is opened by two Siberian capitals - Yekaterinburg and Irkutsk, 85% of whose population are satisfied with their place of residence. Ekaterinburg residents believe that their city is more than adequately provided with cultural institutions - the city is leading by this rating indicator.
But the residents of Irkutsk are sure that the authorities of their city are the least corrupt of all. The corruption of municipal structures is believed by only 11%.
9. Novosibirsk, Ufa
The ninth position is the capital of the Republic of Bashkortostan and the city of Novosibirsk.86% of residents believe that these cities are generally convenient for living. Although Novosibirsk is the third largest city in Russia, Novosibirsk considers that it is adequately provided with housing( 97%), but Ufa residents already estimate the rate of urban construction much lower( 74%).
8. Yaroslavl, Barnaul, Krasnodar
The eighth place was shared by the ancient Russian city of Yaroslavl, the administrative center of the Altai Territory Barnaul and southern Krasnodar. Despite the difference in climate, 87% of Russians consider these cities comfortable for life. Krasnodar leads in the rating on the indicator of the volume of housing construction - the number of residents who believe that the city has enough housing for all, reaches 98%.But the residents of Yaroslavl are not at all happy about the status of their homes and the level of work of housing and communal services - they are well estimated only 47% and 31% respectively. This is one of the lowest in the rating.
7. Voronezh, Kemerovo
Voronezh and Kemerovo residents are equally happy with their lives in their cities - 89% of respondents think that living in them is quite good. However, Kemerovo clearly outstrips its neighbor by the level of accomplishment - 90% of Kemerovo residents rate it highly, while only 70% of Voronezh residents consider their city comfortable for life. But as for
the quality of medical care, the residents of the city, along with Sevastopol and Vladivostok residents, are least satisfied with it.
6. St. Petersburg, Penza
Six such cities as the "northern capital" and the regional center of Penza, residents of which equally estimate their standard of living in them - 90% are generally satisfied with them. And the condition of their homes, and the level of improvement of the city for the Penza people received about the same estimate - 73% and 72% believe that everything is not bad. But St. Petersburg believe that the housing fund should be improved( 65% are satisfied with it), the level of improvement of the city, in their opinion, is high( 82%), but the work of public services is behind - they are satisfied with only 51% of the respondents. At the same time, the Northern Capital is among the "second" cities of the world, which deserve attention.
5. Orenburg, Tomsk
The fifth line in the rating is shared by two Siberian cities - Orenburg and Tomsk, 91% of the local population arranges a residence. Tomchane believe that their city can get a better education - 96% of residents are proud of the work of their universities;this is the highest rate among other cities. However, only 9% of residents believe that the city has a sufficient number of educational institutions. Most people suffer from the lack of sports schools and sections, as well as pre-school institutions. More than a third of respondents( 34%) are not happy with their absence.
4. Grozny
92% of the population are happy with their life in the capital of the Chechen Republic. Grozny residents estimate the condition of their homes higher than residents of other cities( 79%), are proud of the level of well-being of Grozny( 97%) and the condition of highways( 98%).But the work of the traffic police, in the opinion of the city's population, is generally above all praise - 95% believe that they perform their duties well. But especially Grozny residents are distinguished by the indicator, which among the cities participating in the rating is very low - as many as 65% of residents believe that they can influence the city government. For comparison: only 42% of the inhabitants of Tyumen, a city that follows this indicator after Grozny, believe in such an opportunity.
3. Naberezhnye Chelny
The only region of the Russian Federation, two cities from which entered the top-10 rating of Russian cities in terms of living standards in 2017 - the Republic of Tatarstan. Naberezhnye Chelny got a place in the rating in large part thanks to the high appraisal by the residents of the work of housing and communal services - 72% of respondents are satisfied with it. This is the highest rate among the cities participating in the ranking. Still chelnintsy happy with the state of their homes( 76%), as well as the level of improvement of the city( 90%), and the overall level of satisfaction is 95%.
2. Tyumen
Tyumen consider their city to be exceptionally favorable for life - now Tyumen takes the second place in the rating of 2017 of the best cities of Russia for living with the index of contentment of the population in 96%.Especially high the Tyumen people assess the condition of the roads in the city( 94% believe that they are good), the financial investments of the local authorities for the improvement of the city( 79% of the residents are happy with them), and the level of the city's improvement is considered very high by 93% of the respondents.
1. Kazan
And in 2017 Kazan becomes the winner in the ranking of Russian cities for the quality of life, pushing the permanent leader of the country for several years - Tyumen. Residents of the capital of Tatarstan are extremely pleased with the well-being of their ancient city, and compared to 2015 this figure even became higher by 2% and reached 97%.Residents are pleased with the level of urban amenities( 92%), the number and level of work of cultural institutions( according to this indicator Kazan is second only to Ekaterinburg) and the level of education( 91%).The Republic does not lag behind its capital and also entered the rating of the best regions of Russia in terms of quality of life.
