How to check the strength of the paint?

Did you get a new bright blouse and do not know if it's shedding or not? In order to avoid unpleasant surprises when washing new clothes, arrange for it a kind of quality testing in one of 3 possible ways.

Option 1

  1. Wet a small piece of clothing.
  2. Iron it with iron through paper.
  3. If there are stains on the paper - it means that the fabric can be shed.
  4. Output - erase it separately from other things.

Option 2

  1. Cut a small cloth flap from the wrong side, near the seam - so that it is not noticeable. Soak it in ammonia.
  2. Incubate for 10 minutes.
  3. Rinse out.
  4. Check if the color has changed.

Note! Do not try to immerse the whole thing in ammonia. When buying a thing, you can often see that a flap of the same color is sewn from the wrong side - take a piece from it. Even better, if the clothes are sewn in the atelier: you probably will have trimming cloth - on them and practice.

Option 3

  2. Add a little powder. Soak clothes for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Wrap in white cotton fabric.
  4. Press and check for stains.
  5. Look at the water in the container - it did not stain in the appropriate color.
  6. If there are traces - in the future, erase a thing, not mixing with other products.

Note! If you do not have enough time for such a check - wet a small piece of clothing in very hot water and attach to a dry cloth of white color. The result will not take long to wait, but proceed with caution - the water of heat can ruin the thing.
