Basic washing rules

Before you decide to wash the polyester in a washing machine, be sure to pay attention to the label on which a bowl of water with temperature will be displayed. If the palm is shown above the bowl, then only hand washing is recommended. However, it is better to wash a coat or a volumetric jacket in a washing machine.

In doing so, observe the following rules:

  1. All polyester products are erased at a temperature of no higher than 40 C, since in hot water this material is stretched, discolored and can acquire a gray tint.
  2. All clothes from this fabric can be washed only with light things.

Important! Use bleach when washing light products from polyester can not.

  1. Empty the pockets before washing and turn it inside out. Set the mode for such items as "Hand wash" or "Delicate mode".Set the temperature as indicated on the product label.
  2. If the insulation is a sintepon, use a gentle washing agent such as: "Weasel", "Vorsica", etc.
  3. If the insulation is in the down jacket and the feather, use a liquid detergent, since the grains of powder will be poorly rinsed out of the product. We recommend throwing a couple of tennis balls into the washing machine so that the fluff and feather do not get lost in the lumps.
  4. After washing, rinse the jacket twice: first in a non-spin mode, and then set it to a gentle spin.
  5. To ensure that the raincoat, jacket or coat of polyester is less contaminated by socks, add a little antistatic agent during the last rinse.
  6. To wash the jacket from polyester does not affect the volume of the thing, add air conditioning.

Important! If the label of the product indicates "hand washing", then it should also be rinsed twice in the same modes.

  1. Wash the down jacket separately from other things, as the insulation from the water swells and the thing takes up the entire space of the drum.
  2. When hand-washing a polyester jacket, first collect warm water into the bathroom, then dilute the detergent in the bathroom for gentle washing. If the jacket has a bright color, then use a special tool for synthetics.
  3. It is not necessary to pre-soak a polyester product, most heaters do not tolerate this procedure. It is better to rub a particularly dirty place with a brush.

Important! Before washing, fasten the outer clothing to all buttons and locks, even better - pack in a laundry bag, if any.

How to dry things out of polyester?

After the washing of the polyester jacket is completed:

  1. Remove the item from the machine.
  2. Lightly squeeze it with your hands.
  3. Soak with a towel so that the main moisture is absorbed.
  4. Hang it on your hangers.
  5. To avoid ironing, spread out all the folds manually.

Important! Dry things away from heaters and from direct sunlight, as the stains can remain on the polyester. During the drying of the down jacket, periodically cleanse and straighten down with your hands so that it does not get lost. At the same time from time to time it is necessary to turn the product upside down so that it remains bulky and smooth.

  1. Start to iron the jacket from the lining without pressing on the fabric. Place a wet gauze or a wet cotton towel under the iron to avoid damaging the material.
