On what would you spend 45-50 thousand rubles, received in addition to the basic income? It was with this question that experts from the All-Russian Center for the Study of Public Opinion addressed the respondents.
After studying the answers of 1600 respondents, they compiled rating of investment preferences of Russians in 2013 .All the answers were grouped by analysts in five main types of spending: consumption, savings, insurance, investment and debt repayment.

To pay for the loan ahead of time or to return the debt to a neighbor, the Russians are in no hurry. This type of financial behavior turned out to be the most unpopular. This research has been conducted by VTsIOM since 2004, and the return of debts invariably attracts the smallest number of respondents.
4. Saving( 14% of respondents)
Of those who preferred this strategy, 12% of respondents would prefer to postpone money in order to eventually accumulate for a large purchase: an apartment or an expensive car. Another 2% would prefer to save money through the purchase of gold, jewelry, ornaments.
The attractiveness of the savings strategy is starting to decline somewhat - it reached its peak in 2007-2008.
3. Investing( 19% of respondents)
About 14% of respondents would put money in the bank or bought securities. In their own business, 45-50 thousand rubles would be invested by 4% of respondents, and 1% would prefer to spend money on their own education: skills development and acquisition of new skills.
Investing to generate income is most popular among respondents in the age group "25-34 years".
2. Insurance( 41% of respondents)
One of the most popular variants in rating of investment preferences of Russians in 2013 is "to hedge" and to postpone money "for a rainy day", "for a stock".This is how 28% of the respondents answered. About 12% of respondents would spend money for treatment, including purchase of a voluntary medical insurance policy. Acquisition of other types of insurance policies, as well as additional pensions, attract 1% of respondents.

Since 2004, consumption has been a leading financial strategy every year.
For the purchase of various things for the house would spend a designated amount of 28% of Russians.13% of respondents expressed their opinion on the development of children and their education, 8% will spend money on entertainment and travel, and 8% will be able to add funds and purchase a car or a land plot.
The most active "consumers" were respondents between 18 and 34 years old. Moreover, the youngest respondents between the ages of 18 and 24 are more likely than others to spend on travel and entertainment.
