  • right outlet through which water will flow from a tank, river or lake.

The design is not particularly complex, however, it should be borne in mind that the given dimensions will only allow you to wash, although with such a pipe diameter, the pump is able to raise water by 2-3 m.For irrigation, you can use pipes with a diameter of 40 or even 50 mm.

For the convenience of working with a hydraulic ram pump, it is worth installing an additional valve on the first check valve, although you can do with a conventional plug. The principle of operation of the hydraulic ram pump

The water supply to the hydraulic ram itself is made through a black hose from the reservoir. If a fence from a river or lake is required, it is necessary to equip everything so that the pump itself is at least a meter below the surface of the water. If this condition is not met, the hydraulic ram will not work.

The incoming water passes through an upwardly directed check valve into a conservator, which assists in pumping. Further, it enters through the shut-off valves into a thinner hose, through which it can already rise to a higher level. A similar system can be used not only for irrigation, but also for a shower, if the water in the river is clean enough. But the use of a stationary tank here will be unprofitable. Some of the water will flow to the ground through the downward-pointing check valve.
