The retro style appeared in the late 60s of the last century as a challenge to the post-war devastation. It has no strict rules, no framework, the main thing is to recreate the style of romance of the past. These can be things beloved by the heart, passed down from generation to generation. If you decide to stylize your room for it, the retro style has many faces. Today we offer only one option for applying this style using a ready-made solution from the well-known construction mass market Leroy Merlin.
In fact, retro style is a reminder that nothing is old, there are things and techniques that are always in trend. At the same time, any antique item can be easily modernized with the help of spectacular processing using modern finishing materials. Let's talk about the most important approaches that can help in the implementation of such an idea.
Advice! Decide on the direction of the style. After all, retro is typical for several decades: dynamic 50s, bright 60s or solid 70s.
Don't forget that retro style is always about interesting objects and details. It can be an old gramophone, a beautiful coffee table, or a framed mirror. Most often, monochromatic shades of different saturations are used for wall decoration - from bright to dark. Moreover, the color of the walls is preferred to fabric wallpaper.
