TV presenter's unique apartment in a historic building
The TV presenter's two-story apartment is located in the very center of the capital on Prechistenka. The old building was built in 1913. It was originally a tenement house owned by the von Meck family. After the 1917 revolution, it was divided into communal apartments and occupied by workers.
In this form, the apartment was found by Vladimir Pozner. Through complex settlement schemes with the involvement of talented lawyers, an apartment with an area of 100 m2 was sold to a TV presenter for mere pennies.
Layout of old apartments
On the ground floor of a unique apartment, a spacious living room combined with a dining area and a kitchen were equipped. High ceilings allowed for luxurious transitions between rooms. The traditional classics were chosen as the starting design, which the TV presenter supplemented with antiques. The rooms are decorated in light colors, it visually expands the already rather big space.
Unusual choice for the living room
A small load-bearing wall separates the living room from the dining area; the entrance on one side is decorated with a spectacular portal decorated with frosted glass. The second entrance is decorated with wide moldings and paintings in strict classical frames.
The living room was divided into two parts using original bar counter from marble, on one side of which there was a collection of wines. The tabletop is decorated with family photos in beautiful frames and a variety of souvenirs. A single parquet flooring was chosen for the floor throughout the entire space.
They put in the recreation area corner sofaupholstered in light milky cotton. Opposite, on a small chest of drawers, a huge plasma was placed. Each space is illuminated by luxurious classic chandeliers with candle-shaped bulbs.
Fireplace area on the second floor
A cozy seating area was set up above the dining area on the second floor. The main place is occupied by a luxurious fireplace portal made of solid wood, the surface of which is decorated with milling, openwork decorative overlays and patina. A huge mirror in a chic frame and a stylish chandelier-shaped sconce were hung over it. On both sides, they put original low floor lamps in the form of semi-columns.
Near the portal, two small sofas with velor upholstery were placed opposite each other. Each of them has an armrest on one side only. An original table was placed between them in the form of a real rare chest with antique hinges and locks.
Modest kitchen interior
The walls of the kitchen are painted in a pale blue tint, the floor is tiled with collectible rectangular tiles. They placed in a spacious room linear headset, made of solid wood, decorated with chrome shell handles. A practical artificial stone was chosen for the countertop, the apron was trimmed with small light-colored tiles.
Fixed above the hob T-shaped stainless steel hood, above which an open shelf for kitchen spices was placed. All the space above the upper cabinets is occupied by a unique collection of mugs with the names of cities. Vladimir Pozner has been collecting it for many years, and today it has more than 300 copies.
TV presenter's office
Vladimir Pozner's office is located on the second floor of the apartment. The TV presenter is proud of his collection of books, he has collected many unique publications not only in Russian, but also in French and English, which the journalist is fluent in. To accommodate printed literature, high shelves and bookcases with open shelves were specially ordered.
The TV presenter's favorite place is an antique writing desk made of natural wood with a lacquered surface, which was installed near the window. An antique lamp on a tripod with a light fabric cone-shaped lampshade was placed on the tabletop. A comfortable swivel chair with a low back, according to Vladimir Pozner, he will not exchange for any modern office chairs.
If you wish, you can relax in the office on a comfortable fold-out sofa with light fabric upholstery. A small TV was installed on the wall nearby. The office is decorated with spectacular curtains with a colorful print and a classic carpet in red and beige tones.
House-dacha in Vnukovo
Back in 1993, Vladimir Pozner built a small country house with an attic in Vnukovo. It stands right next to the forest, surrounded by virgin nature. The site is surrounded by a high wooden fence. Over time, reconstruction was carried out here: the window structures were completely replaced, and water supply and sewerage were also installed in the house.

Vladimir Pozner created incredibly comfortable living and working conditions for himself. According to the TV presenter, he loves every corner in his apartment. It must be admitted that the interior really turned out to be atmospheric, filled with special sincerity and warmth.
