Back in 2014, Alexander Gordon started looking for housing. After reviewing more than one option in the capital, he decided to buy a land plot just 30 km from Moscow. The TV presenter considered that it is better for his children to grow up in the fresh air away from the polluted metropolis. If you have to stay in the city, you can rent an available option at any time.

The site is located in a picturesque place on the banks of the Pestovsky reservoir. The first difficulties arose with the choice of the project. Alexander Gordon wanted the house to fit into virgin nature as naturally as possible and not disturb the overall landscape. As a result, he picked up the original project of a two-story flat-roofed mansion, the façade of which vaguely resembled a modern country style with an American bias.

Features of the construction of a family nest

The architect proposed to Alexander Gordon to build a mansion using a double volumetric frame. This technology was first applied in the West and is ideal for the harsh climate of Russia.

The character of Alexander Gordon also affected the interior design, which turned out to be truly masculine, diluted with a small amount of contrasts.

Spacious living room with a second light

On the ground floor, there is a spacious living room with a second light. The walls are painted in a milky white tones, for the floor they chose smoky muted tiles. The room turned out to be very bright thanks to panoramic windows and glazing of the second tier, as well as a snow-white stretch canvas made of natural textiles.

The entire action of the room is focused on the fireplace, the chimney of which is disguised in the wall. The portal is clad in gray natural marble with natural sand-colored veins. Above it was fixed a painting depicting an angel at sunset, which was presented by close friends for a housewarming party. The floor in front of the fireplace was covered with carved cast iron antique slabs.

The living room is divided into two parts with the help of sofas facing each other. One was furnished with bright furniture in a blue and muted lilac shade and equipped with a seating area with a TV. An original coffee table made of two pallets was placed next to the sofa. All this splendor is adorned with two unusual floor lamps on thin legs and self-woven country-style paths.

The second area of the living room turned out to be more intimate. An antique sofa with carved legs, which Alexander Gordon acquired at a flea market, was installed here. It goes well with a handmade woven carpet.

Strict kitchen interior

The living room smoothly passes into the kitchen, on the border they put a small gray sofa with a high back, decorated with a coach tie. An antique sideboard was installed nearby, the facades of which are decorated with thin decorative strips fixed diagonally.

A laconic set of white painted wood was installed in the kitchen area. The apron was sewn up with cream-colored tiles. In the center of the room, they placed a large table on curly wood legs and several chairs of different sizes, which slightly dilute the restrained character of the interior.

Library and study of Alexander Gordon

The TV presenter's study was equipped on the first floor. It is decorated in olive and white tones with oak parquet flooring. The ceiling beams were painted white.

The office perfectly combines an antique bookcase with glass doors and modern shelving, painted in white. An antique curved desk and a small armchair made of solid wood were placed in the working area. A narrow console with curly legs was placed behind it. A rare weapons cabinet with a secret lock was installed near the window, in which Alexander keeps his manuscripts.

An antique sofa with a high soft back, decorated with delicate carvings along the perimeter, was placed in the recreation area. The second sofa made of genuine leather fits perfectly with it, the back of which is decorated with a coach tie. All the vacant walls are occupied by paintings by Alexander Gordon's father.

Favorite vacation spot - an open gazebo on the bank of the reservoir

They decided to build the gazebo closer to the water; a narrow area of 4 × 10 m was allocated for it, so as not to uproot age-old trees. The foundation is installed on screw piles, if necessary, it can be extended if an extension is needed. The frame was built from a vertical larch bar, this technology fits best with landscape design. All wooden elements were treated with protective compounds and painted with paint based on natural ingredients.

A barbecue complex with a barbecue was installed on the site near the closed wall, where you can cook a delicious steak or the family's favorite dish - oriental pilaf. The dining table was made of natural wood slab. Comfortable chairs made of artificial rattan were placed around.

Electricity was supplied to the gazebo and original waterproof lamps of the color of old bronze were installed around the perimeter. Three chandeliers were fixed on a beam above the dining table. A floor lamp with an outlet was installed near the pier, from which you can charge your gadgets while relaxing.
