Cozy family nest of Andrey Malakhov
Andrei Malakhov owns three apartments, but after the birth of a child, the family prefers to live in a spacious two-level apartment with an area of 200 sq. m overlooking Nikolina Gora. Two years ago, the TV presenter turned to famous designers with a request to decorate an apartment in one of the modern directions.
At the first meeting with professional designers, Andrey first of all showed several pictures. He has been collecting works of contemporary art for many years and would like them to become a starting point in the interior. The designers offered a light Scandinavian style that will not distract attention from unique and colorful paintings.
Direct hit in style
Scandinavian style and cozy Danish hygge are a direct hit of the TV presenter's childhood. From an early age, Andrei lived in the north of the country and, together with his friends, often donated mushrooms and berries to Finland, receiving unique things for them. In addition, it was the glossy Finnish magazines that fascinated with their unusual presentation. Therefore, the design proposed by the professionals reflected parts of what Andrei had to face in childhood,
BUT. Malakhov jokingly calls his apartment a dacha in a high-rise building, since the windows offer a stunning view of the forest-park area. In addition, the TV presenter never wanted to live outside the city in his own house, he needed a spacious and quiet apartment in which you can stay away from the bustle of the city, but without worries about everyday life.
Layout and basic concept of renovation
Andrei Malakhov's apartment was a box of concrete, and first of all it was necessary to decide where it would be better to fit the flight of stairs. Having made a visualization of the project, the designers decided that the structure should be installed in the back of the apartment. Thus, it will not interfere with the passage to the upper tier.
The free layout of the apartment made it possible to single out several functional premises: a dressing room, a relaxation room with art objects, as well as a living-dining room, a kitchen, a bedroom and an office. Gray and white were chosen as the basic color scheme, which were supplemented with natural wood materials.
Stylish living room
One wall in the living room is painted in a dark graphite shade, against which a bright painting in the style of abstraction looks quite original. In the recreation area stands comfortable sofa and a designer armchair on a metal chrome frame. Small shelves open shelving-wall occupied by modern figurines and fresh flowers.
There is a high open shelving unit near the adjoining wall. It was made from MDF according to the individual design of the designers. The shelves, installed at different heights, made it possible to place various-format art objects on them.
Unusual design of the kitchen-dining room
A snow-white partition separates the kitchen from the living room. Combine two spaces, an open opening and the same parquet flooring light walnut color. In the dining area, there is a sliding table with a solid wood worktop mounted on a white painted metal frame. Nearby are comfortable chairs, the backs of which repeat the anatomical shape of a person.
The kitchen has linear furniture in matt white with integrated handles. For apron a tile with a surface reminiscent of the natural structure of wood was selected. Looks spectacular on a natural stone countertop black hob and a sink in dark graphite color with a snow-white L-shaped mixer.
The warm floor in the working area is covered with Italian tiles with a small geometric pattern in black and white. The ceiling is illuminated from spotlights and spotlights with directing beams.
In the dining area, one wall is a modern street art - a fresco by Valery Chtak. The artist decided that against the background of a white wall, the silhouettes would look spectacular and fit into the overall concept of the apartment's decoration.

Opposite the dining table, on the wall in a frame under glass, hangs Olschwang's unusual crossword puzzle consisting of nonexistent words. Since childhood, Andrei loved to solve puzzles and when he came to his grandmother for the holidays, a selection of magazines was always waiting for him. The teenager could recognize the word from the next number, so he always filled in all the cells.
The whole house contains a large collection of unusual art objects that not only decorate the apartment, but are also entertaining in nature. For example, a friend of the TV presenter presented an original scarlet bar car for housewarming.

Spouses bedroom
The bedroom is located on the second floor, which is the most comfortable place in the house. The wall behind the headboard of the large double bed is finished with white brickwork. It is decorated with a stylish painting by Oleg Dow. Design lamps with guiding shades are fixed on both sides.
The wall opposite the bed is painted in deep blue, against which the contrasting picture of Murakami looks spectacular. Nearby is a stylish dog figurine, an easy chair and a ball in red and white upholstery.

Spacious dressing room
A TV presenter always needs to look stylish and impeccable, and for this it is necessary to have perfectly matched things in the wardrobe. For numerous items of clothing and accessories, we decided to allocate a spacious room.
Andrey Malakhov calls a dressing room for inspiration. Minimalist coat hangers are placed behind the glass doors of the stylized display cabinets. Nearby are a large mirror with a spectacular silver wave and a low chair with snow-white fur trim. In general, the room creates a good mood for the owners of the house.
TV presenter's office
The walls of the study are finished with decorative plaster with a concrete effect. They go well with diagonally laid parquet boards. Near the window there is a laconic black table and a low armchair with light upholstery. The windows are draped with light beige curtains.
The walls are decorated with modern paintings, and a carpet with a geometric print is perfectly matched to them. There is a small seating area near the door with low armchairs upholstered in natural leather and decorated with coarse stitching. There is also a round table on a leg, which fits perfectly into the strict design of the interior.

Unusual bathroom solution
The apartment has two bathrooms. One has a multipurpose walk-in shower with rain shower and tempered glass partitions. It has many chrome elements typical of the Scandinavian style. The walls in the "wet" zone are faced with spectacular honeycomb tiles, the rest of the surfaces are covered with snow-white paint.

The second bathroom is in marble. Away from the wall is a luxurious bowl with faucets on the side wall. Nearby there is a snow-white inclined rack for bath accessories. Solid wood furniture perfectly dilutes the light design of the room.
