On the eve, the head of the Ministry of Construction outlined the approximate time frame when the government will be able to offer additional support measures to enterprises in the construction industry. Vladimir Yakushev said that after self-isolation, it will be clear that the sphere is needed first of all.
“When all the services start working, when all construction sites start working, when we understand with what losses we got out of self-isolation, then, of course, we will have to think about either the next pool of measures support, or, if we see that the measures that we now have are effective, just load them up with financial resources, redistributing what we have inside, ”said Yakushev.
We will remind, on April 16, President Vladimir Putin outlined the time frame in which support will be provided to enterprises in the spheres, more than others affected by the coronavirus. Tourism enterprises, consumer services, transport structures can count on additional assistance. Provided that 90% of jobs were saved by April 1, such organizations can count on a lump sum payment of 12 thousand rubles for each employee. Meanwhile, the state of the oil market, on which the budget of the Russian Federation depends, may significantly adjust some of the Government's plans. “Something will need to be abandoned and directed to anti-crisis measures to support the industry,” the minister emphasized.
At the same time, according to him, the Ministry of Construction will continue to monitor the situation in the housing construction market and will be engaged in forecasting which tools will help to overcome the crisis.
