Rating of the best winter tires 2014-2015

Every year in the midst of a hot summer, experts study automotive rubber from a wide variety of manufacturers, compiling the winter tire rating .

Good rubber provides a reliable grip with a frozen coating, allows you to maintain maneuverability and smooth running in any frost, ensures safety and accuracy of control. It is in today's top ten that the popular tires meet the highest requirements.

The list was compiled on the basis of the analysis of winter rubber tests conducted by the editions of "Behind the wheel", "Auto Bild", "Autoreview" and "ADAC" for the last year.

10. Yokohama Ice Guard IG35

Japanese tires are equipped with 3G-lamellas, improving handling on icy and snowy roads. For better removal of slush and snow, the surface of the tires covers the semi-radial grooves. The special composition of the rubber compound prevents the spikes from falling out and prevents deformation of the tires.

9. Pirelli Ice Zero

The best rubber of the Italian brand demonstrates the new technology of misfiring. Reduced mobility of the spike is facilitated by its multidirectional design, and a wide base optimizes load distribution.

8. Dunlop Ice Touch
