How to clean the topaz?

Apply the usual dishwashing detergent this way:

  1. Pour into a bowl of warm water.
  2. Add 1-2 drops of liquid.
  3. Lower the product with topaz into solution.
  4. Leave it for 15-20 minutes.
  5. Get out of the water.
  6. If there is still dirt on the stone, gently brush it with a soft toothbrush.
  7. Wash the jewelry several times in a clean warm, then in cool water.
  8. Wipe several times with a soft cloth to dry.

Note! Do not use hot water - it is harmful to the stone. Under the influence of high temperature, topaz can discolor. In the same way, you can clean products with diamonds.

How to clean diamonds?

Method 1

Clean and shine your diamonds will return the usual ammonia solution:

  1. Take 1 cup of cold water.
  2. Add 3-4 drops of ammonia.
  3. Stir thoroughly.
  4. Put the decoration in the water.
  5. Leave it for 30 minutes.
  6. Get out of the water.
  7. Clean the stone with a soft toothbrush or flannel cloth.
  8. Immerse in water with ammonia for another 5-10 minutes.
  9. Remove and wipe dry with flannel or paper towel.

Note! If the decoration is heavily soiled, additional actions will be required. Take a toothpick, wrap a small piece of cotton wool over it, moisten it in a solution of ammonia and gently wipe the most polluted places. Wash in water or wipe with a soft cloth.

Use liquid ammonia and vodka for cleaning:

  1. Take the glass.
  2. Pour into it, in equal proportions, ammonia and vodka.
  3. Stir.
  4. Put a diamond product in the solution.
  5. Leave for 30 minutes.
  6. Remove and rinse with cold water.
  7. Wipe dry and polish with a soft flannel cloth.

Note! If necessary, vodka can be replaced with a more concentrated product - medical alcohol.

Method 3

For the same purposes, you can apply wine vinegar:

  1. Pour the wine vinegar into the glass.
  2. Put the decoration in it.
  3. Leave for 5-7 minutes.
  4. Remove and wipe with a soft cloth moistened with the same vinegar.
  5. Rinse in cold water.
  6. Wipe dry with flannel and polish.

Note! Use an exceptionally soft cloth - flannel or microfiber napkins. Do not use too hard wipes with coarse villi - they can leave scratches on the surface of the stone.
