Alcoholism is one of the most acute problems in Russia. Many people like to "miss a glass" from time to time, if there is an occasion. But, according to narcologists, about 3 million Russians are not just periodically drinking, but drinking to get drunk. And the real number of alcoholics can be much higher, since not every victim of alcoholism turns to the narcologist.
The federal project "Sober Russia" and the CEC "Rating" revealed the most drinking regions of Russia .The list is based on the following indicators: sales volumes of beer and vodka, number of deaths from alcohol poisoning, the number of people suffering from alcoholism and alcoholic psychosis, crimes committed by drunk persons, the power of anti-alcohol legislation in the regions of the country.
The sobriety rating of subjects is made out in the table. At first, the is the most sober regions, then the most problematic ones. The smaller the points, the "sober" the region.
Monitoring by "Sober Russia" and CEC "Rating" is the first of a series of "alcoholic" studies demonstrating both the degree of alcoholism in the regions and the extent to which anti-alcohol legislation is effective.
New versions of the "National Sobriety Rating" will be corrected on the basis of assessments of sociologists, narcologists and other experts, and indicators that occurred in the subjects of the Russian Federation of changes.
