Mechanical Methods

Blade

You can erase the handle from paper in the literal sense. Use the blade for this. Just gently wipe off the top layer of paper along with the paste. This method is suitable for those types of handles that are not very absorbed into the paper and are subtly written. To restore the smoothness of the paper, your finger, which you need to rub in the place of treatment, will help you.

Important! Use this method only with thick paper, because in its thin forms you can easily wipe the hole.

Eraser

Many rubber bands are made double-sided - one side for a pencil, the second for pens. To prevent unforeseen moments, it is better to have one with you. The side for the handle contains the abrasive particles and acts like a razor, gently erasing the top layer. But this office tool is much more convenient to use.

After the inscription has been removed - the surface should be given a more accurate appearance. You can do it the way you did in the previous method or using a slightly warm iron, which you just need to smooth out the surface.

The same as the two previous methods, except that there is less likelihood of damaging the paper compared to the blade, and the ability to erase the inscription more effectively than the rubber band.

Chemical methods

Chemical methods involve the use of dissolving liquid substances, which, acting on the inscription on paper, neutralize the ink.

Vinegar and Manganese

You can erase ink with a mix of potassium permanganate and vinegar. We will need: acetic concentrate( 70%) - 1 tsp, potassium permanganate( manganese), hydrogen peroxide, cotton swab and stick.

Then do the following:

1. Place a blank sheet of paper under the sheet with an inscription.
2. Mix the vinegar and a bit of potassium permanganate - the color of the mixture should turn out to be a dark purple hue.
3. Dip the cotton swab in the solution.
4. Apply it neatly to the ink that needs to be removed.
5. Apply until the ink starts to turn pale and then completely disappears.
6. On paper, you will have a brown-brown stain, do not panic.
7. Dip the cotton swab into hydrogen peroxide.
8. Treat with a swab stain left from potassium permanganate - it will disappear.
9. Take 2 sheets of blank paper or a piece of cloth.
10. Treat the sheet from which you inked the ink through it with a warm iron until it dries completely.

Lemon, oxalic acid and water

Another effective way to erase a ballpoint pen, but quite aggressive. For the solution we need: 10 grams of oxalic acid and the same amount of citric acid and 100 ml of water. Then proceed as follows:

1. Prepare a sheet with an undesirable inscription - as in the previous method.
2. Mix the prepared ingredients.
3. Apply the mixture to a brush or cotton swab.
4. Wipe the inscription several times.
5. Dampen the cotton swab in clean water and pat the treated sheet in the place where the ink was.
6. Dry it as in the previous method.

Important! Note that these acids are very concentrated and corrosive. Therefore, to avoid skin burns, work in protective gloves and preferably a gauze dressing. And to protect from furniture damage, put a clean cloth under the sheet of paper with an unnecessary inscription, or even better - a dense cardboard.

White

Very fast but dangerous way. Wadded wand stick in white and wipe the desired place. Inks dissolve under the influence of chlorine.

Important! Be careful when working with whiteness, wear a mask and gloves.

Nail polish remover( with acetone)

You can also remove the handle with this product. The acetone in it is a powerful solvent. Reproduce the following recommendations:

1. Wet a cotton swab in the liquid and pat them with the inscription.
2. Repeat until complete removal.
3. If after several times the ink is not removed, try to drop the tool on them.
4. Place a napkin under the bottom so that it absorbs the excess of the product.
5. Dry the treated product.

Important! This method is not suitable for removing a couple of letters or a clue, since when the solvent is exposed, all the words written alongside can also come off. But to remove a blob or a single inscription - just right.

Isopropyl alcohol

You can also try to remove the handle with alcohol. The procedure is repeated the same as with acetone, the only difference being that after alcohol it is necessary to clean the stains from the ink with hydrogen peroxide.

Toothpaste

Even a remedy like toothpaste can help you erase ink. To do this:

1. Put it on the label.
2. Rub with a toothbrush.
3. Soak a cotton swab dipped in water to wash toothpaste.
4. Dry the paper.

Important! This method is only suitable for removing large parts of the inscriptions, since it is almost impossible to carry out such a procedure very carefully to delete one letter or dot.

Ultraviolet

If you have more than one day to remove unwanted inscriptions, then you can use this method. Simply use the following algorithm:

1. Place the object in need of treatment on a sunny spot, having previously closed the rest of the text.
2. Leave this for a long time.
