Ranking of countries by level of minimum wage

Based on the data of the European Statistics Committee and various authorities of European countries, experts from the Center for Economic Analysis "RIA-Analytics" prepared the economic rating of countries for the level of minimum wage .The basis of this ranking was the minimum guaranteed by the state wages of wage workers. This indicator could be interpreted in different ways in a number of states. However, it always reflects some kind of social support or state guarantee to wage workers. The corresponding value in national currency was recalculated at the purchasing power parity by average annual indicators of 2011 into Russian rubles.

52 states took part in the rating. That is, almost all countries that have approved the convention of the International Labor Organization, as well as the UN No. 131 "On Minimum Wage."
