What options can you use
Uneven walls are a solvable problem. Only each of the three possible solutions differs in terms of money and time costs, and also subsequently requires a special attitude. So what can you do? You can simply plaster the walls - this is done in most cases. You can sew them drywall sheets - this way you will quickly cope with the task. And finally - you can putty.
What's better? Or rather, it will be like this: in what cases, which type of alignment should be used?
Plaster and its varieties
You can buy the plaster mix ready-made, or you can do it yourself. Now there are a lot of compounds on sale that have excellent properties. They are elastic, which makes them easy to apply, do not crack or shrink when dry. Conventionally, plaster mixes can be divided into several subspecies.
Cement-lime compositions differ in plasticity and are similar in properties to gypsum solution. They are distinguished by their durability, excellent resistance to fungal attack and mold.
Cement mortars in terms of plasticity may not be inferior to cement-lime mortars, if modern plasticizers are added to them. Mortars with a high grade of cement are good for use in rooms with high humidity. They give long-term results and are pleasing in terms of costs.
The gypsum mixture dries very quickly and hardly cracks. The advantages of this composition are environmental friendliness, good adhesion, light weight.
But gypsum mixes cannot be used in wet rooms - they are very susceptible to water.
Plasterboard leveling
Unlike plaster, leveling the walls with drywall always gives the perfect result. With the help of this type of finish, you can cope with any flaws of the builders, even if it is a pothole with a fist in depth.
Plasterboard is installed on the crate, and this allows you to hide communications and wiring behind it. It is possible not to use the crate, and if the walls are relatively flat, put drywall on glue or construction foam.
Of course, there are also disadvantages. The lathing will "steal" part of the area, in addition, you will have to solve problems with the fact that it is very difficult to hang something on such walls.
Putty for light leveling
If the irregularities are rather symbolic, you should not put up with them either. It is necessary to putty - it does not require special expenses and is quite simple.
In terms of their composition, putties are also gypsum and cement, like plasters, and also polymer.
It is easy to apply the putty, it dries quickly, but is only suitable for local leveling of small defects
