Not so long ago, everyone was discussing the repair that Maria Shukshina did in the apartment of her famous mother. Not everyone understood the work of designers, many found the design too clumsy for an older hostess. Small studio apartment
Maria Shukshina bought a studio for her star mother in the beautiful area of New Moscow. The apartments were planned not as a main dwelling, but as a temporary resting place or a summer cottage surrounded by a landscaped forested area with paths and shops.
Features of the design of a new apartment
The studio was rented out with a rough finish and full wiring and plumbing. The designers had to think over the project and select materials and furniture. The hostess decided not to stick to any particular direction. It was important for her that the interior was comfortable for the hostess and disposed to rest.
An open-plan apartment with a spacious loggia and French glazing, which has become a big plus. This made it possible to carry out the original zoning of functional areas.
The designer offered an unexpected solution: do not erect partitions, and to delimit the space with curtains installed on an electric cornice. You can close them at any time and retire to the sleeping area. In the rest of the apartment, they decided to make a guest area and a place for relaxation with a winter garden.
Repair procedure
Double-glazed windows were replaced in the studio. The new ones are equipped with silica gel inserts, thanks to which fogging is excluded. The outside of the glass is coated with a glossy gold tint. It reduces light transmission, and in hot weather keeps the inside cool.
For the walls in the kitchen, we chose English paint in a pleasant gray scale. They laid on the loggia warm floor and porcelain stoneware, the surface of which imitates the structure of wood. Wall surfaces were faced with similar slabs. On the living room floor laminate with oak veneer.
To decorate the walls in the living room, they used seamless wallpaper with artistic painting, made by hand. In addition, we selected a unique panel in gold and graphite tones with a spectacular pattern.
Cozy design of the loggia
Loggia with French glazing - an ideal place for relaxation, comfortable rest and winter garden. The entrance area was decorated with an array portal wenge colors. A round tea table was placed near the window. natural rattan.
A wicker rocking chair with soft cushions was placed in the loggia. It turned out to be an ideal place for relaxation. The space is illuminated by two cylindrical pendant lamps.
Living room zoning
The living room has a luxurious corner sofa dusty blue with folding mechanism. When unfolded, you get a comfortable double seat. The side section is equipped with a laundry box. Red and orange pillows act as an accent.
Heating radiators have been replaced in the living room vertical radiators. The recreation area is separated from the general space by Spanish-made curtains made of matting, fixed to an electric cornice.
In the recreation area, a handmade carpet with a raised haircut was laid. The design of the living room is complemented by open wall shelves and a laconic table, the surfaces of which are protected with a special varnish. Tall wardrobes for the hallway were made from a similar material.
Kitchen decoration
Kitchen set made of MDF and chipboard. All drawers and doors are equipped with silent closers. Glossy facades are painted in a beautiful cream shade, which fills the room with incredible comfort. Installed on an artificial stone countertop stainless steel sink and a brass mixer.
The most modern equipment was installed for the future hostess:
- electric cooking table;
- semiautomatic coffee maker;
- grill;
- multicooker;
- blender;
- microwave.
A small dining area with an oak table was set up near the window. A comfortable micro-velor upholstered chair was placed next to it. The high back is decorated with capitonne stitching and gold piping.
Summary
The designers have correctly allocated all functional areas in the apartment, keeping a private area for the hostess. The interior turned out to be ambiguous, but Maria Shukshina was delighted with the thoughtfulness of the design and the unusual choice of decor.
In our opinion, many ideas for decorating an apartment for Lydia Fedoseeva-Shukshina can be adopted. But for a small home, large frescoes and dark colors are not entirely suitable. What do you think? Share your opinion in the comments.
