Cozy atmosphere in the kitchen-living room

One of the most spacious rooms on the ground floor was taken as a living room, combined with a kitchen. The walls were decorated with an imitation of a log house, thanks to which the interior looked like a village hut. The room was originally painted in a faded green hue, which made her gloomy and uncomfortable. The designers suggested replacing it with a warm pistachio color that fills the room with delightful light and comfort.

The main place in the living room is electric fireplaceinstalled in a classic MDF portal, decorated with veneer. It is absolutely safe, since the imitation of fire is created by the water vapor illuminated by halogen lamps. Above it, a TV set with a thickness of only 3 cm was fixed, which, when turned off, looks like a mirror in a strict frame. A comfortable sofa with two folding sections was placed in the recreation area. The width of the armrests allows small trays to be placed on them. Decorative pillows serve not only as decoration, with them it is much more convenient to watch TV or just relax.

Modest but very comfortable kitchenette

Linear furniture in a light gray shade was installed in the kitchen area. The set is made of solid wood, the doors were additionally treated with sandpaper, then a glazing compound was applied and covered with patina. Thanks to this sophisticated technology, the surfaces have been given an aging effect, while the shade looks deeper.

Unique forged handles in the color of old copper were selected for the facades. In addition, the surface was covered with paint with a shade of copper sulfate, after which the edges were sanded with a coarse cloth, leaving the tone only in the recesses. The furniture was complemented by a pencil case, decorated in a romantic provence styleand an open shelving made of pine for storing kitchen utensils.

The central place on the ceiling is occupied by a luxurious spider-like chandelier, which in design is very suitable for the knobs on the headset. Metal shades are similarly patinated to look like old copper. The brightness of the light is adjusted using the remote control.

The windows are decorated in Provence style with solid tulle and curtains in small flowers. The curtains are made of a mixed fabric with a high cotton content. They drape well, forming a soft fold. The shade of the print goes well with the overall design of the kitchen-living room.
