Fluffy beauty from cocktail tubes

We offer a master class on making a New Year tree from cocktail tubes, which was taken on the DIY Crafts YouTube channel. This craft can be of any color and size, and can be decorated as you wish. We are only presenting, so to speak, the basic version.

To make a Christmas tree, you will need:

• cocktail tubes with a diameter of 4 mm;
• hot melt glue with a special gun;
• PVA glue;
• sequins;
• scissors;
• metal ruler;
• brush;
• wooden skewer for kebabs;
• large beads or beads with a hole larger than the diameter of the skewer;
• cap from a bottle of milk or kefir.

	For the first row, we cut tubes 80 mm long
	From one end of the tube in a circle we make cuts of 15–20 mm
	Using the same scissors, we kind of curl these "noodles"
	For the second row, we cut tubes with a length of 70 mm and make an oblique cut on them from one edge
	You should get these blanks. We alternate the colors of the rows. The order will be as follows: 3rd row - 70 mm, 4th and 5th - 60 mm, 6th and 7th - 50 mm, 8th and 9th - 40 mm, 10th and 11th th - 30 mm, 12th - 20 mm
	We take 14 blanks of the first row and string them on a needle and thread
	We tighten the tubes in such a way that we get such a design. We tie a knot (in the same way we make all the remaining tiers of the Christmas tree)
	We do the same with the second row, but the cuts should look up or down, so we take this nuance into account when stringing the tubes
	Apply hot melt glue in a circle to the middle of the tier and press a metal ruler. After the glue has set, carefully separate the tubes from the metal
	We grease the edges of the tiers with PVA glue
	Sprinkle the greased tubes with glitter
	You should get these blanks
	Now we take the plastic cap from the milk bottle, make a hole in the center and insert a wooden skewer into it. Fix its edge with hot melt glue
	We string 5-6 beads on the tree trunk
	Installing the first tier of the Christmas tree
	We string 1-2 beads (depending on their size, the main thing is that the tiers do not fit tightly to each other)
	Thus, we collect the Christmas tree, tier by tier.
	Cut off the excess trunk, apply hot glue on it and set the top: a ball or other decoration

Corrugated paper Christmas tree

Consider how to make a Christmas tree from corrugated paper and cardboard. It is perfect for decorating a living room, nursery or office table. For making Christmas or New Year's decor you will need:

• cardboard or whatman paper;
• corrugated paper in green, white and red;
• foam bead;
• glue stick;
• ruler;
• scissors;
• pencil.

So, let's start creating a Christmas tree:

	We make a cone from cardboard or whatman paper, which will be the base, and glue its edges
	Cut rectangles with sides of 100 * 130 mm from green corrugated paper, screw each element onto a pencil, leaving an allowance of about 20 mm. Squeeze the tube from edge to center and remove it from the pencil. We bend the workpiece and twist the allowance, as indicated in the photo. This will be a spruce paw, of which you need to make about 25-30 pieces, depending on the size of the cone
	We glue the base of the cone in a circle with green corrugated paper. We begin to glue the first tier of spruce paws, placing them tightly to each other
	We make the second tier with an offset in the center in relation to the other row.
	Using the same principle, we glue all the tiers up to the very top, leaving about 30 mm of the non-glued cone. The top will be decorated with an elegant cap
	Cut out a rectangle with sides of 100 * 130 mm from corrugated paper of red color and 150 * 150 mm from white paper. We wind the second piece on a pencil, leaving an allowance of about 30 mm, squeeze the tube and remove. We glue the allowance of the white tube on the red rectangle, as in the photo
	We form the cap. For strength, you can insert a piece of soft copper wire into the white tube and join the ends together. We twist the edges of the red rectangle to form a hat, as in the image
	Cut off the long tail and glue a Styrofoam bead onto the top of the cap. We put a hat on the top of the Christmas tree, and our beauty is ready
