Nowadays handicraft shops present a large selection of finishing materials, which allows you to create the most unusual and original jewelry. If you use round beads to decorate the Christmas ball, then they will have to be injected with pins into the foam or fixed with glue. Using half-beads will make the ball more original, and you can glue them with hot glue. Additionally, the toy is decorated with a beautiful ribbon bow and brooch. Such a Christmas tree decoration is not a shame to present to friends as a gift.

To create a ball you will need:

  • foam blank;

  • half beads;
  • braid for loops;
  • ribbon for a bow.

Make a hole in the foam blank and attach the braid, cut the desired length and make a loop, and fix it with glue. To improve the visual effect, it is advisable to paint over the entire ball with white acrylic paint. Paste over the workpiece with half beads, starting from the loop of the braid. You can place half-beads in a spiral or in rows, as you like. The trim can be used in different sizes, colors and shapes, at the base of the loop, glue a satin ribbon bow and decorate it with a bead.

Christmas balls made of buttons

In order to make original Christmas balls, even old buttons without a pair will come in handy, which are not needed and it was a pity to throw it away. To make a toy you will need:

  • foam balls;
  • buttons of different sizes and colors;
  • scissors;
  • hot glue with a gun;
  • a piece of tape or tape for the eyelet.

Use hot glue to fix the old buttons on a foam blank, which can be purchased at a craft store. From above they can be covered with a layer of colorless varnish or acrylic paint. Glue on a loop of tape and decorate with a satin ribbon bow.

Alternatively, you can use a small children's ball or Christmas tree toy instead of a foam ball. Then you can use Moment glue or its analogue. Such glue is not suitable for foam plastic, as this agent will corrode the material.
