Simple solution: how you can make a frame for a lampshade with your own hands
First, we decide what we will make the frame from, for example, it can be wire or a plastic waste basket.
If it is a plastic container or basket, you will need to make a hole in the bottom for the cartridge.
It is better to take the wire from aluminum or steel. The first option is easier to process than the steel one, which is more difficult to use due to its elasticity, but the shape will be just as strong and stable. Male power will come in handy, as well as the help of strong wire cutters and pliers. Traditionally, the frame consists of two rings of different sizes and posts, which serve as fastening joints. The size of the circles and the length of the posts determine the dimensions future lampshade.
How many racks are required depends on the size of the rings: the more such elements, the rounder the product, especially if the finish is textile. It is recommended to leave about 4.5-6 cm between the posts. Each is fastened to rings either with small hooks, tightly clamping them with pliers or screwing them on. Steel posts with a wire diameter greater than 2 mm are welded.
