Crocus Expo will never be the same. For at least the next 2 months. The Moscow government rents a room for 110 million rubles to open a hospital there for seriously ill COVID-19.
The room will house over a thousand beds, including 120 intensive care units. The hospital is completely sealed, the infectious diseases wards will be designed for a maximum of four people, functional beds, TVs, individual bedside tables will be installed in them. A bathroom with a shower, a washbasin and a cooler is provided for every two chambers. All work will be completed by May 12.
“With regard to the conditions under which we provided the premises for a hospital, I would like to note that the usual cost of renting one Crocus Expo hall for a month is 178 million rubles. For a hospital, we provide premises for 110 million rubles for two months - this is May and June, from the possibility of further prolongation ", - said the owner of the premises, President of Crocus Group Araz Agalarov. He added that the agreements actually refer to the payment of utilities.
