Pasting boxes with fabric or wallpaper

Every house exists a pair of cardboard boxes - a shoe, or household appliances. It is sometimes not enough room to store different things. The optimal solution - use the box as a container, put things in them.

However, by itself the appearance of boxes is poor. In the house we would like to create a cozy atmosphere, rather than a warehouse of dusty cardboard. There is an original way to accomplish both tasks with minimal effort - to paste over the box with fabric or wallpaper.

Consider the case of wallpaper pasting

Why do it, why not use a white paper? Yes, you can. But if there is a need to enter into the interior of the box, to make it less visible, then the best solution is to apply exactly the wallpaper, which papered room or similar in hue or pattern.

Incidentally, it is desirable to use wallpaper, paper or vinyl, with the rest to be the complexity of the work, and they look messy (if we take the thick textile-like) or shine (in the case of non-woven). And, of course, is not recommended for use in liquid or glass fiber.

So, we take the appropriate box, measure it. If the cover is separated from the box, then paste over it in the first place. Apply the pencil size to the wrong side of wallpaper: first, the size of the cover, and then on the perimeter - the sidewall. It is supposed to be a sort of "cross" with short arms and a large central part.

Making "allowance" of about 3 cm on each side. Carefully cut out a piece of the lines.

Now you need to paste the item on the cover

First sadim bulk of adhesive, put under a press, give dry; then bends rays cross inside the cover glue, adhesive tape can be attached to the inside for strength. Next do "the pattern" for the box: we put the marks on the wallpaper, leave allowances, cut. We are beginning to paste over with "external bottom." Try to wallpaper was smooth inside edge.

After drying, the adhesive outer corners of the box accurately fix the transparent adhesive tape.

You can do without the glue, use only tape - it greatly speeds up the process, but the wallpaper may begin to bubble. It is advisable to apply glue for ceiling tiles - it does not deform the cardboard.

Now consider the case of tissue pasting

It gives a wide scope for the imagination, but there should be presented as a future 'box' fit into the interior. Perfectly look fine patterns, geometric patterns, floral print.

We recommend using a cotton cloth or with a small percentage of synthetics that, during the operation was not pulling, tissue deformation, reaction with glue.

The order of laminating the same as in the case of wallpaper, but without the use of adhesive tape. If desired, you can first make the pattern paper to apply it to the cloth.

Once the box is dry, it is possible to further decorate - add glitter, small metal parts, beads, pearls, sea shells and pebbles.
