How to wash the floor?

Coatings for the finishing of floors are different, respectively - cleaning the floors also requires a special approach with the use of suitable means. In the pantry of the people's councils there are recipes for making each of them purer. Select and apply the one that is most suitable for you.

Method 1

To wash the white and unpainted floor, proceed as follows:

  1. Dissolve hot soap in hot water, you can grate it first.
  2. Dampen the resulting solution with a small area of ​​the coating.
  3. Take the herbal rag.
  4. Rub the wetted area of ​​the floor.
  5. Gradually move around the entire surface.
  6. Wash treated areas with clean water.
  7. Dry the floor with a dense large cloth.

Method 2

Cleaning the floor of heavily soiled, covered with decorative paint, occurs as follows:

  1. Fill the bucket with water.
  2. Dissolve 2 tbsp.ammonia.
  3. Moisten a rag in the resulting solution.
  4. Wash the floor.
  5. Wipe clean with a dry cloth.

Important! The concentration of ammonia for a solution with water can be changed for individual chronic spots. In this case - separate traces of dirt rub off first of all, and then proceed to cleaning the entire floor. It is advisable to ventilate the room well after cleaning, since this substance has a rather caustic and unpleasant smell and it even remains dissolved even in dissolved form. Despite this, still ammonia is one of the most popular means, because when using it, cleaning the floors takes a little time and will certainly be very effective. And for the excellent result, you can reconcile yourself with such unpleasantness as a not very fragrant aroma.

Method 3

If you want to give the painted floors a shine, proceed as follows:

  1. Take the methylated spirit and the vegetable oil.
  2. Mix the ingredients in equal amounts.
  3. Wipe the floor with a clean cloth.
  4. Wait for the applied mixture to dry on the surface.
  5. Take a clean cloth.
  6. Scratch the treated surface to a shine.

Important! Such cleaning of the floors gives an excellent effect, but immediately after cleaning and polishing the floor, try to at least 30 minutes on it not to walk, so that the substances are well absorbed. Or, if you really need to be in this room, put on soft socks.

Method 4

Clean the floor with a linoleum coating as follows:

  1. Fill the bucket with warm water.
  2. Dissolve soap or one of the modern means, for example, "Mr. Proper".
  3. Wash linoleum manually or with a mop.
  4. Thoroughly rinse the foam with clean water.

Important! If you use household chemicals - read the manufacturer's instructions. Many of the concentrates, with a properly used proportion, do not need to be washed, which significantly reduces the time, but does not reduce the quality of cleaning the floors. Lubricate linoleum once in 2-3 months with linseed oil or natural linseed oil and rub with a clean soft cloth. You can also wash it with kerosene, but not more than once a year.

Method 5

The parquet floor is rubbed with mastic which can be prepared at home as follows:

  1. Take the wax and turpentine in equal quantities.
  2. Rub the wax on the grater.
  3. Place the mass in a container and fill it with turpentine.
  4. Allow to infuse for 5-6 days.
  5. Before application to the parquet, the resulting mastic is diluted with hot water in such a proportion: per 1 m2 of floor 25g of mastic and 400 g of water.
  6. Apply the resulting mixture to a dry parquet, with a thin layer.
  7. Wait until the mastic is completely dry.
  8. Take the plotter and grate the surface.
  9. Rub the parquet with a felt or cloth.

Important! Mastics cover the floor no more than once a month. If you do not want to bother with preparing a floor cleaner from a parquet board yourself, buy it at any household chemical store or hypermarket. If you have a unique and expensive parquet made of valuable wood, initially consult with the specialists of the company that supplied it, or directly with the sellers in the store. Improperly selected means can spoil the appearance of such a floor covering!

How to wash the stains on the floor?

If your cover is not just dusted, and there are impressive spots of clear or not quite on it, the floor cleaning will look a bit different:

  1. Try to determine what the spot was made from.
  2. How long the contamination is on the surface.
  3. Please see possible deletion methods.
  4. Act in any convenient way for you, given the fact that it is from the means at hand, how aggressive they are.

Important! Try to initially choose more simple and safe substances - in this case, cleaning the floor is unlikely to harm the material.

Method 1

Remove the stubborn grease from the parquet or painted floor, thus:

  1. Rub the stain with a sponge soaked in turpentine.
  2. Fill this area with talc.
  3. Blot with a paper.
  4. Smooth through the paper stain - not strongly heated iron.
  5. Repeat the procedure if necessary.

Important! Remove the fresh grease stain by wiping it with sandpaper if you have lacquered parquet or a wooden floor.

Method 2

Get rid of the traces of the ink from the linoleum in this way:

  1. Rub the stained place with pumice stone or sandpaper.
  2. Remain the remaining traces, wiping with oil or vegetable oil.
  3. Take a woolen rag and polish the treated area.
