How to clean the acrylic bathtub?

Acrylic is a fairly strong material, but requires knowledge of some of the features to care for the surface. Clean such a bowl in the same way as cast iron, but consider some limitations:

  • is not advisable to use large abrasives - they can leave scratches on the coating;
  • if you remove the coating with a brush - take a soft, but by no means metal;
  • do not use highly concentrated acids, alkalis and chlorine - they can melt acrylic.

The procedure for cleaning the acrylic bath is as follows:

  1. Treat the surface with the selected cleaning agent.
  2. Leave for a while to allow the substances to function.
  3. Wipe the bath with a soft sponge before completely removing any unsightly plaque.
  4. Rinse with water.
  5. Wipe dry.

Important! In building stores, a special repair kit is being sold to restore the acrylic surface. In it you will find several sheets of sandpaper and a paste for painting. Detailed instructions for use are included. This method is perfect for returning the attractiveness of even a very old bathroom.
