Gouache and watercolor

Oil paint

  • refined gasoline;
  • kerosene;
  • white spirit;
  • alcohol.

  1. Acetone is not suitable for leather products, as well as synthetic and delicate fabrics.
  2. When using refined gasoline: first wet the problem area with the product, and then treat it with ammonia.
  3. Ammonia can change the color of the product.

Aniline paints

To get rid of aniline paint, you will need the following tools:

  • potassium permanganate;
  • oxalic acid( 2% solution);
  • is denatured alcohol.

  1. Prepare a 10% solution of potassium permanganate: 1 g potassium permanganate dissolved in 100 ml of warm water.
  2. Prepare a solution of oxalic acid by dissolving 2 g of the substance in 100 ml of warm water.

  4. Apply a solution of potassium permanganate and leave for a few minutes.
  5. Moisten the soiled area with a solution of oxalic acid.
  6. Wash the product in warm water.

Silicate paint

Silicate solutions are easily removed with vinegar:

  1. Treat contamination with a toothbrush soaked in table vinegar.
  2. Wash contaminated area in warm water using household soap.
  3. Rinse the treated material.

How to remove the paint from clothes if the stain is withered?

If you missed the moment and the color is absorbed into the fabric structure, then you will need to apply much more effort, and the result may be far from desired.

The principle of your actions to wipe the paint under this situation is as follows:

  1. First of all, with a sharp object( knife or razor), remove the dried crust of the substance so as not to damage the structure of the fabric.
  2. Moisten cotton swab means, depending on the fabric: it can be alcohol, gasoline, oil or other agent( see above).
  3. Apply the prepared preparation for soiling and leave it for a while( the paint should dissolve).
  4. Remove excess with cotton swab or sponge.

Important! Since the procedure for removing paint can be prolonged, change the cotton frequently. Do not rub the paint into the fabric, but remove it.

  2. Rinse the thing well in warm running water.
