Basic rules for the restoration of damaged white things at home
Exposing white things to systematic non-core processing, it is necessary to strictly adhere to the main recommendations, otherwise there is a risk to spoil the capricious fabric in just a few washings. And then no bleaching with baking soda or hydrogen peroxide will not restore them:
- White products need not only be separated from color analogues, but also packed according to the type of fabric before shipment to the machine. Home and industrial bleachers have different effects on things from different types of matter.
- Using formulations based on hydrogen peroxide or soda, do not try to increase their effect with industrial bleaches. This can lead to deplorable consequences and even the complete destruction of the fibers of the laundry.
- Before loading white objects into the washing machine, you need to check the drain and clean it if necessary. Otherwise, the products will be rinsed out badly and covered with bloom from air conditioners and powders.
- It is necessary to wash white things as they become soiled, rather than filling the basket for dirty laundry. In the case of certain tissues, even the day of procrastination can become a point of no return for the damaged object.
With some white garments it is not possible to provide full home care. If the cleaning of the material delivers too much trouble or does not give the proper result, it is better to entrust it to professionals.

How can I bleach products with baking soda?
Bleaching of clothing and bed linen soda is considered the softest option for exposure to matter. At home, the active component is used by one of the following methods:
- To restore the color of the grayed products, you need to prepare a solution of 5 liters of warm water, 5 tablespoons of baking soda and two tablespoons of ammonia. We soak the stuff in the resulting composition for at least 3-4 hours, after which we wash it in a traditional way or with a linen.
- Flax whitening at home is also best done with soda, but this time calcined. The drug falls asleep directly into the tray of the washing machine, setting the washing regime at a temperature of 70 ° C.Additionally, industrial bleach is not allowed!
- Before exposing white faded products to aggressive chemical treatment, it is worth trying a soda paste. For its preparation, we dilute the baking soda powder with a small amount of water. The resulting composition is applied to the stains and carefully washed with fingers in the fibers. We wait at least half an hour, clean the product and wash the product in the typewriter. If the contamination does not go away, we make one more approach. If there is no positive result after two attempts, we turn to other methods.
All listed compounds and approaches are more effective at home, but on old worn fabrics with stretched and broken fibers they are useless to use. If the product has lost not only color but also shape, it is better to think about its replacement or repainting in a different color with the help of modern acrylic and powder dyes.
