How to erase the marker from the plastic?

In our houses a lot of interior items are made of plastic. To remove a trace from ink, not only on plastic parts, but also any hard surface, you will need the following tools:

  • Alcohol or any alcohol-containing substance.
  • Liquid for removing varnish or acetone.
  • Hairspray.
  • Toothpaste.
  • Soda.
  • Sunscreen.
  • Universal grease WD-40.
  • Marker for removing stains.
  • Magic eraser.

We suggest you use the following ways to combat the traces of a writing object.

Method number 1

Any alcohol and, of course, medical alcohol will do. Wet a cotton disc or cloth with a small amount of alcohol-containing substance and wipe the marker off the coating. Alcohol will return the felt-tip pen to the liquid state, so removing the mark from the felt-tip pen will not be difficult. After the treatment, wipe the surface dry.

Important! As contamination, change the cotton pad or the side of the fabric to prevent the surface from getting stuck.

If alcohol does not help, use acetone or a nail polish remover. Clean sponge or cloth with a dampener and rub liquid into the problem area. Remove solvent residues with a soap solution.

Important! Do not use this method on painted and varnished coatings. The solvent can remove not only the marks from the marker, but also the varnish, as well as the paint from the surface.

Toothpaste and soda can be effective assistants in stain fighting if you need to erase a permanent marker:

  1. In a small container, mix toothpaste and soda in a 1: 1 ratio.
  2. Apply the mixture to the soiling and leave it for 5 minutes so that the problem area left by the felt tip is impregnated with the components.

How to wipe the marker with upholstered furniture?

To remove "art" from furniture, use the following guidelines:

  1. For leather upholstery, use a hair spray. On a clean cloth, apply a small amount of aerosol and wipe off the dirt. As contamination, change the napkin to clean. Residue the lacquer with a clean, damp towel. After treatment, apply a little protective air conditioner to the leather upholstery.
  2. Wrap the cloth upholstery with hydrogen peroxide and alcohol. Clean the clean towel with a small amount of peroxide, and wipe the problem area with the cloth for 10-15 minutes. Then moisten another clean towel in the alcohol and wipe the contamination for another 10-15 minutes. With a damp cloth, remove any remaining ink and wipe the furniture dry.

The means and methods of removing stains directly depend on the composition of the fabric of the garment. Depending on the material of the product, select and tools, for example:

  1. For satin fabric use together: milk, vinegar, lemon juice and borax. Prepare the following solution: 1 tbsp.a spoonful of milk, 1 tbsp.spoon of vinegar, 1 teaspoon of borax, 1 teaspoon of lemon juice mix thoroughly. The prepared solution is applied to the contaminated tissue area. Leave the clothes for 10 minutes, then wipe the stain with a damp sponge.
  2. For thick fabrics, use alcohol or acetone. Moisten the cotton pad with the tool and wipe the dirt to erase the permanent marker. After the treatment, rinse the product.
  3. For ordinary fabrics, from which most of the things are made, use citrus juice. Apply some freshly squeezed juice to the stain and wipe it with a piece of clean cloth until it disappears completely. For delicate tissues, use the juice diluted with water. After the treatment, wash clothes.

Important! On white cloth, any blemishes are effectively eliminated with bleach. A small amount of the product is diluted in water and soak in the soiled dirt. Sometimes the spot disappears immediately, and sometimes it takes time to remove it. The main thing - make sure that the bleach does not begin to corrode the structure of the fabric. As soon as the stain disappears, immediately rinse the clothes.

  1. If you need to remove ink from the carpet, then use alcohol or hairspray. Wet the cloth with alcohol and apply to the stain.
