Warning - armed with

In order not to be mistaken, choosing the washing method, temperature and cleaning agent, it is important to carefully study the label or label sewn from the wrong side of the thing. As a rule, there is indicated all the necessary information on the care of the product.

It is worth paying attention to three main characteristics:

  1. fabric composition;
  2. recommended washing method;
  3. temperature.

Most often, it is by looking at the label that you can unmistakably determine that the product is made of polyester, because things from this fabric sometimes have different fiber densities and are even perceived differently to the touch. Many factors can affect this, for example, the composition of the tissue. It can be 100% polyester, and include the addition of natural fibers, such as flax or cotton. If things are from combined fabrics, you can use the simple rule: if the percentage of presence of polyester in the product is more( in most cases), then it should be washed the same way as pure polyester, if more percent of the other kind of fiber - then vice versa. But this is the case if the label does not have any instructions on washing.

Most often they are. For example, usually there it is indicated which method of cleaning is acceptable or unacceptable for a thing. An icon with a crossed-out basin generally prohibits the erasure of the product. In this case, you will have to limit yourself to a gentle dry cleaning or to hand over a thing for cleaning, so that specialists can work with it.

Thankfully, most often polyester can be washed both manually and in a washing machine. In the first case, the optimal temperature will be 30-40 degrees. In some cases( usually indicated on the label), washing is possible at 60 degrees. But we must remember that polyester does not like high temperatures, which easily deforms.

As for the means, then you can use the usual washing powder, dissolved in warm water. Heavily soiled places can be pre-treated with a bilious soap - after that the thing is better washed.

Advice

Washing powder can be from any manufacturer, but the main thing is that it is suitable - for color or white, depending on the color of the product.
It is better not to mix white and color, even if you think that they do not shed.

We use the washing machine

Washing in the washing machine in general very much simplifies the process. The main thing is to set the desired temperature and the appropriate mode. If the product is not very dirty, then you can extend it in fast mode. If you need a more thorough cleaning, then you need to set the mode "Delicate washing" or "For delicate fabrics."In some models of automatic machines there is a mode "Hand wash", which is also suitable for polyester. You can add detergent powder and, if necessary, a stain remover.

Important!

The stain remover should be suitable for all types of fabrics, so as not to damage the product.

Wash outerwear

Polyester jackets are washed in the same way as described above, guided by the directions in the label. Before washing, you need to fasten( before checking) all pockets and locks and wash in a gentle mode, with a maximum temperature of 40 degrees. After washing, the jacket should be neatly spread over the shoulders and letting it drain into the bathroom. The same principle applies to down jackets.

Wash down jacket with synthetic insulation is the same as washing the jacket. It is best to use liquid agents like "Laski", because the powdery ones are poorly washed out of the warmth of the down jacket even when thoroughly washed in a washing machine.

If the down jacket with a natural warmth - down or feather, - then there is much more difficult, because such heaters have properties, getting wet, stray into uneven lumps. You can prevent this by throwing a couple of tennis balls in the car, but it's better not to experiment and take the down jacket to dry cleaning.

Thoughtfully following the directions on the label and our recommendations on how to wash the polyester, you will do everything right, and the washing will pass without problems.
