was published by the International Center( hereinafter - MC) on Fuel Quality Supervision( the full name of the organization in English - The International Fuel Quality Center, abbreviated - IFQC) rating of gasoline quality in 100 countries of the world , based on the sulfur content in it. For reference: the above MC appeared in 1998 as a branch of Hart Energy Publishing LLP.This information company in the energy sector is now one of the largest in the world. IFQC is a service that specializes in collecting analytical data on the quality of transport fuel.
Sulfur is a natural component of oil. Due to incomplete purification of raw materials, it remains in transport fuel. When gasoline burns, sulfur enters the air. Sulfur compounds have a harmful effect on human health, the environment. Thanks to the purification of gasoline, it is possible to significantly reduce the emission of sulfur, nitrogen oxides, carbon, make the engine work longer and more efficient.

IFQC rating data are updated every six months. The country's location in the rating, conducted for the last time, was determined on the basis of:
- maximum allowable sulfur content in gasoline, based on national standards;
- of the maximum allowable standard according to local or regional standards( for example, this rule was valid for cities or states);
- year of the introduction of restrictions.
What conclusions follow from the conducted research, where the most high-quality gasoline? According to the IFQC analysis, the is the best in terms of quality, the option is offered in Germany by .The second place in the ranking was allocated to Japan. On the third place several countries are located simultaneously: Austria, Estonia, Denmark, Hungary, Finland, Sweden shared it among themselves. Poland is on the 9th position. Ukraine can be seen on line 48 of the data list provided by IFQC. The quality of gasoline in Russia was awarded only 84 seats .
There are also notable leaps, both positive and negative. The most significant deterioration in the quality of gasoline in the world - in the US.This country lost as many as 35 positions. Russia surrendered 34 positions, Canada - the same number, Uzbekistan lost 30 positions, and Azerbaijan - 27. The most noticeable improvement in fuel quality in Morocco: the country moved in the IFQC rating by 76 positions. The position of Albania was higher by 36 positions, Macedonia by 33, South Korea by 29, Panama by 28.
