Some time ago, there were rumors that the Russian figure skater Evgenia Medvedeva decided to trade her native country for Canada, but they turned out to be only partly true. Indeed, Evgenia lived in Toronto, but she was not going to change Moscow for something else forever. The sports star has her own cozy house near Moscow, which she equipped in order to live in it. For life in the suburbs, Evgenia chose a large house built of red brick. This material is particularly durable and reliable compared to modern options, such as slag concrete. Evgenia does not live alone in the house - the closest people moved with her - her mother and grandmother.
Despite the fact that the house itself is decorated quite restrained, the interiors are luxurious - the skater chose herself and her family only the best and made the long-standing dreams of her own home and the beauty around myself. The main shades are pastel. In the decor, furniture and the entire interior design of the house, predominantly white and beige colors are used.
The area around the house
The main advantage of living outside the city in a private house is a large area that can be arranged according to your own taste. At first, Evgenia experimented, rearranging furniture and changing some details in order to understand what kind of environment she likes best. Specialists of the program "To the Country!", who came to visit the figure skater, helped her arrange a place to relax on the street and created a luxurious corner in the garden.
Evgenia actively furnishes the house, but pays no less attention to the area around it, because here she is rests after work and therefore wants to create an atmosphere in which you can relax and "reboot". The first thing that was done was a landscaped path around the house, paving slabs were used for this.
There is a beautiful old apple tree on the property, as well as several trees that are planted along the house and serve as a kind of hedge. Despite the fact that the territory is quite large, there is not as much free space as it seems - the house occupies most of the yard.

With the purchase of a house, Evgenia was finally able to organize a cozy recreation area for herself. She set aside a space in the living room and set up a comfortable sofa. In the city apartment, according to Evgenia herself, there was a lack of a grill, but now she has one, and the skater often prepares healthy dinners for herself and the whole family - grilled meat and vegetables, without a drop of oil. In the evenings, when everyone is at home, Zhenya, her mother and grandmother gather at a large table, have dinner and discuss the latest news.
Since Evgenia spends a lot of time in training, she does not have much time to stay at home, and she spends every free minute with her family. But sometimes a girl wants to be alone with her thoughts, and then she goes to her room and rests.
According to the skater, she tries to reduce the time spent on the phone, so she has a lot of things for hobbies in her room. For example, Evgenia plays the ukulele.
There is also a sports area in the house. As a professional athlete, Evgenia cannot spend a single day without training, so she was forced to equip a sports area right at home so as not to go to the city every day and not spend a lot of time in traffic jams.
Eugenia often posts photos from home on her Instagram and gives her followers the opportunity to see how she lives. If you flip through the tape, you will notice that many photos were taken in the kitchen - this is the main room in at home, and the athlete spends a lot of time there, for example, sitting at a large table with laptop.
And pets live in her house - the skater loves dogs very much.
Due to back problems that are not uncommon for professional athletes, Evgenia was forced to purchase a special massager, and he also takes up space in the house. This is a huge chair that can be found in some shopping centers. The figure skater regularly sits on this chair and stretches her back muscles.
One of the latest acquisitions for the house is a Japanese garden, the real joy and pride of the skater. Evgenia strives in every possible way to decorate the space around her and create beauty and a cozy atmosphere. This approach is an ideal solution, because when it is pleasant to be in the house, you can always relax in it after hard everyday life and recuperate.
