The scandalous journalist moved with his family to the capital about 20 years ago and lived in rented apartments for a long time. Only in 2015, the winner of three TEFI awards was able to afford the purchase of an expensive country house. Vadim Takmenev approached the design of everyday life quite creatively, and all discussions with his daughters who are studying abroad were carried out on the Internet. Having lived in the capital for about 15 years, Vadim Takmenev only in 2015 decided to buy his own house. The mansion made of laminated veneer lumber in the suburb of Zvenigorod attracted the spouses at first sight. It was about such a family nest that they dreamed all their lives. The elite village is surrounded by a relict forest, in addition, the Moskva River flows literally in a ten-minute walk.
The area of the house is relatively small - only 200 m2. But Vadim and his wife reasoned that the girls had grown up and had already fluttered out of the nest, and for two this was quite enough. The TV presenter almost instantly made the decision to buy.
The house was built according to the usual standard design. Due to the fact that there was no decoration inside, the journalist managed to adapt it for himself in the shortest possible time. The documents for the mansion were issued in December 2015, and in March 2016 the couple celebrated a housewarming. The whole reason was in rented housing, for which a rather large amount had to be paid.
Creative details in the living room
On the ground floor of a small house there is a spacious living room and a kitchen-dining room. The upper tier is occupied by a journalist's bedroom, a common dressing room, girls' rooms and an office. Oak parquet boards were laid on the floor throughout the house, and the walls were painted in light gray.
The small living room seems more spacious thanks to the second light. They decided to highlight the ceiling with beams painted in brown. The main accent of the room is a biofireplace. He was placed in a spectacular portal made of natural wood, tinted in different shades of gray. The brightness and intensity of the flame are adjusted using the remote control.
A cozy seating area with two sofas was set up in front of the fireplace. Light blue upholstery lends a touch of solemnity to the interior. The living room is illuminated by a classic chandelier with a cascade of candle lamps and crystal pendants.
Home atmosphere in the kitchen
In the spacious kitchen-dining room, oak parquet with protective impregnation was laid on the floor. The ceiling was painted in a beautiful cocoa color and decorated with snow-white slats. The solid wood corner set is completed with a wide bar counter, the leg of which is supplemented along the perimeter with panels and openwork patterns. High chairs with slatted backs were placed for breakfast with the family.
The upper modules of the headset are decorated with frosted snow-white glass. The working area was set up near the window. An induction hob and an integrated sink with a retro-style mixer were installed on the stone countertop. The kitchen is illuminated by spotlights, a ceiling chandelier and suspended matt shades above the bar counter.
Elegant solemnity in the dining room
The main place in the dining room is occupied by a dining table with a natural oak table top on snow-white legs. For the owner of the house, a luxurious armchair upholstered in dark blue velor was placed at the end. The armrests are decorated with gold decorative carnations along the perimeter. High-backed chairs have been matched to this chair by design. Graceful chrome rings create a solemn effect in the interior.
For serving dishes, a display cabinet with glass sliding doors in the upper module was ordered from an array. A low chest of drawers was placed between the dining area and the kitchen, in which textiles and decor items are stored. The space is illuminated by a luxurious chandelier with multi-format semi-matt shades.
Private rooms on the second floor
A wooden staircase with a glass railing leads to the second floor. The walls along the march are decorated with family photographs in openwork snow-white frames. To decorate the window between the aisles, we chose classic cocoa-colored curtains, effectively selected in the lower part.
Despite the fact that Vadim's daughters live in other countries, each asked to arrange a separate room for herself. Floral print sofas and large double beds were specially ordered for them. The windows are traditionally decorated with snow-white tulle and plain curtains with a spectacular shine.
Original details in the bathroom
In the bathroom, a floor-standing oval-shaped ceramic bowl was placed near the window. On the contrary, they installed a cabinet made of solid wood with patinated facades and a large washbasin instead of a table top. A unique openwork frame was selected for the mirror, handcrafted by local artisans.
Home garden decoration
A spacious gazebo is attached to the house, the openings of which are closed from the weather with flexible windows. Snow-white curtains serve as a decorative accent. Outside, along the perimeter, flower pots are installed, on which ampelous flowers grow in summer, and in winter they are decorated with LED figures.
The backyard area is planted with lawn grass, flowering ornamental shrubs grow along the paths. In the backyard, Vadim laid out an excellent garden, the harvest of which he gladly shares with his close friends.
Summary
Vadim Takmenev thought over the whole design of the house and its arrangement with his family without involving professionals. For this, a family chat was created in messengers, in which all issues were discussed with the daughters and wife. The TV presenter sent sketches of furniture and textile options for approval. Thus, by joint efforts, an incredibly cozy space was designed for each family member.
