What is required to assemble a multi-tiered greenhouse
To build such a greenhouse, you need eight tall plastic boxes of the same size. They should fit well into each other. In addition to boxes, you will need a roll of packaging film, some scotch tape and weighting materials - ordinary stones or a couple of bricks, as well as a piece of heavy metal pipe.
To equip the structure, no tools are needed, except for the usual pruner or large scissors, with which you will need to cut half of the boxes.
Assembling a multi-tiered greenhouse: highlights
The greenhouse will consist of plastic boxes stacked on top of each other, you just need to solve the problem of installing seedlings inside the pots.
If you put two boxes together, whole and cut, you get a tall cell in which you can easily place even very grown seedlings.
The weight of the plastic boxes is small, so there is a danger that in a strong gust of wind, the greenhouse will topple over and the plants in it will be damaged. To prevent this from happening, the lower part of the structure should be heavier.
The greenhouse must be hermetically closed; for this, a curtain must be made from the same roll film. Its edge should be fixed on the roof with adhesive tape and unwound to the full height of the greenhouse.
Now, if you need to open the greenhouse, the curtain can simply be folded back onto the roof, and in the evening, lower the weighting agent and press the film against the walls for greater tightness.
How to use a multi-tiered greenhouse: simple guidelines
A multi-tiered greenhouse is no different from a regular one. It is imperative to ventilate it in a warm time of the day so that the plants do not die due to excess moisture.
Thanks to such a greenhouse, you can even grow seedlings on the entire plot on a small balcony. And here is a small video on how to make such a mini-greenhouse, in which you can germinate seeds before picking:
We are waiting for your comments on this design. How convenient do you think it will be in operation? How can it be improved? If you also use multi-tiered greenhouses, share your impressions! Good weather and rich harvest!
