Efim Shifrin bought a small apartment in the legendary building on Kotelnicheskaya embankment. The famous Stalinist skyscraper is located in an amazing place at the confluence of the Yauza and the Moskva River. The architects realized the unique idea of constructing a city-within-a-city building for famous people of that time.

Cozy living room
The living-dining room at the entrance was equipped with a dining area with an original octahedron table and classic high-backed chairs. After a dinner party, you can relax on a small sofa in juicy orange color. Near the window, they put corner furniture with beige fabric upholstery, matched to the color of the window curtains.
Country residence in the Moscow region
The artist's favorite dacha is located just thirty kilometers from Moscow. On a large territory, the artist built a two-story brick cottage and a wooden bathhouse. The comedian dreamed of erecting a guest house next to it, so that late friends would not rush to the last train and could stay overnight in quite comfortable conditions.
The original project of the guest house
To make his dream come true, Efim Shifrin turned to the designers of the famous TV show. Professionals have prepared a unique project of the house, which, in terms of style, will ideally fit into the existing one. landscape.
The architect has developed a project for a small wooden house measuring 8.5 × 5 m on a pile screw foundation with a soft roof and a blind area made of tiles. Inside, in addition to the living room-bedroom, a shower stall with a bathroom is planned.
Construction stages
The house was built using frame technology using wooden I-beams with increased strength. Insulation was laid on the wall between the shelves of the beam. A vapor barrier was laid on the roof, the openings were filled with heat-insulating plates, the waterproofing was fixed and flexible tiles with basalt granules sprinkled were fixed on the flooring.
The builders installed modern American vertical sliding window sliders. Their leaves move from bottom to top. This is quite convenient for small spaces, since the window sill always remains free. Outside, the house was upholstered moisture resistant chipboard and horizontally fixed the decking made of wood-polymer composite. The surface imitates the beautiful structure of wood.
From the inside, the house was sheathed with panels of a facade polymer composite, which externally resembles a tree. New interior doors are complemented by graceful panels and glass inserts with beautiful engraving. Norwegian was laid on the floor laminated parquet with a lock connection.
The walls in the bathroom are decorated decorative plaster with marble chips imitating Roman travertine. A special protective coating was applied on top. A new dark oak colored metal entrance door was installed in the house.
Furnishing the guest house
The room was equipped with a large double bed with an anatomical mattress and a high soft headboard decorated with decorative buttons. The decor was complemented by a chest of drawers and bedside tables, painted in complex gray tones. A cozy seating area with comfortable armchairs with high legs and a floor lamp with a snow-white lampshade was equipped near the window.
The bathroom was equipped with a multifunctional shower stall with glass partition, washbasin and installation. In the courtyard, a convenient wall grill was fixed to the wall.

As you can see, newfangled repairs and buildings are not about Efim Shifrin. The artist is quite conservative and rarely changes something in his life.
