From an old suitcase
An interesting and roomy sewing organizer can be made from an unnecessary plastic suitcase. The following tools are required:
- sandpaper;
- paint for plastic of any color you like;
- thick cardboard;
- Super glue;
- scissors.
Step-by-step manufacturing:
- Sand the surface of the suitcase to remove old paint.
- Apply paint for plastic of any color.
- Dry.
- Cut out blanks from thick cardboard that will divide the inner space of the suitcase into sections. Leave small gaps (at least 0.5 cm) for the folds, with which the partitions will be fixed. The number of blanks must correspond to the desired number of cells.
- Glue the partitions to each other in the right order and place the resulting structure in a suitcase.
From plastic cups
Usually the plastic cups are thrown away - they are not recommended to be reused for hot drinks. And few people will think that they can be used to build a structure for storing small things.
For manufacturing, you will need the following materials and tools:
- washed plastic cups;
- tapes;
- fabric bows or other decorations;
- threads;
- scissors;
- lighter;
- ruler
- nail polish.
Sequencing:
- First, you need to measure the box or large box in which you plan to put the accessories for needlework, and determine how many cups will fit inside.
- Use scissors to cut 4 small holes in the top of each cup on opposite sides. In plastic containers, which are planned to be placed along the edges of the structure, we make holes only on three sides.
- Cut the ribbons into pieces. For example, an organizer with five cups will require 4 pieces.
- Process the ends of the ribbons with a lighter flame so that they do not bloom.
- Connect the cups together with ribbons by passing them through the holes. You can tie the ends with a bow, but then the ribbons should be of the appropriate length.
- In this way, create several rows.
- Paint the edges of the cups with nail polish so that the cells are clearly visible.
- Use an adhesive tape to glue bows or other decor of your choice.

- any fabric (preferably elastic material);
- braid;

- scissors;
- threads;
- self-tapping screws;
- screwdriver.
Step-by-step manufacturing:
- Attach the fleece to the can, aligning the edges on the top and bottom. Secure and wrap the entire jar neatly, gluing the material to the surface.
- Make the bottoms of the cans even by gluing circles of thick cardboard.
- Sew covers of a suitable size from the fabric so that they fit very tightly on the jar. Leave allowances at the top and bottom.
- Sew the braid to the covers, keeping the seam allowance.
- Pull the cover over the jar.
- Glue the fabric on top, tucking it inside the container.
- Cut the bottom edge so that it looks like a flower with petals.
- Alternately glue the petals to the bottom, pulling the cover so that there are no creases and folds.
- Cut out cardboard blanks for finishing the inner surface of the cans.
- Cover the cardboard with a cloth, gluing the ends on the back.
- Smear the seamy side of the cardboard with glue, carefully place it in the jar so as not to stain the outer walls.
- Connect the jar with the cardboard with clerical clips and wait until it dries.
- Cover the wooden base with a cloth as well.
