And meanwhile, very many housewives do just that, moreover, completely consciously and absolutely regardless of financial well-being. Madness or common sense? Let's understand this phenomenon.
What is a stone sink if it is not made of stone?
In nature, of course, there are natural stone shells. Granite or even marble, but you can't even imagine how much such a pleasure costs.
Countertops are made of the same material. What are the advantages of this choice? Without a doubt - amazing strength, almost stone. There are even craftsmen who themselves cast such products in a very bizarre shape. But we are not talking about them now.

If you discuss this issue with the supporters of stone shells, then their most powerful argument is that they are beautiful. Well, yes, especially if they are made from the same composition as the countertops.
Do you know what pisses you off the most? When doing the usual work is inconvenient. That is, you want to rinse the baking sheet, but you cannot - because you do not know what angle to seat it in this stone hole in the countertop.
And finally, about the rational, although all of the above also applies to it. Let's talk about caring for this "treasure". If you, God forbid, leave the dishes in the sink after a party until the morning, food leftovers will dry on the walls and are not easy to remove. The instructions for the sink say that you cannot rub it with powder and abrasive, but what then should be done? Soaking endlessly is a long and rather dull task.
