Many manufacturers of stickers use in the process process fixing compounds of increased resistance to external influences. Therefore, removing the adhesive from the plastic from the sticker is not as easy as it seems to many. Only boiling water here is indispensable, besides this aggressive remedy often negatively affects the quality of plastic.

The best way is to initially remove all traces of the label together with the substances that make up the adhesive layer. If, at first, there were attempts to remove the sticker mechanically, as a result of which the paper moved away, and the glue densely fixed on the surface, it is necessary to start up completely different means in the course.

Techniques that will help remove the sticker from the plastic and leave no traces of

Regardless of what means it is decided to use to remove the interfering sticker and pure glue, it must first be tested on an inconspicuous part of the product. Otherwise, then it will take a lot of effort to wipe it off the plastic or restore the spoiled coating.

In order to wash away all traces of the label in one approach, it is necessary to proceed according to the following scheme:

  1. We try to touch the sticker with a fingernail or sharp object, if the paper easily leaves, then remove it and then we work on the adhesive substrate. If the product is not given, then immediately go to the next stage, do not try to remove the pieces of the coating to the maximum.
  2. We direct a jet of hot air from the dryer to the paper and wait for half a minute. Once again we try to remove the object from the plastic surface. We make 2-3 approaches, if there is no progress, we move on to another method.
  3. We carefully soak the sticker with vegetable oil and leave for a day, periodically updating the composition. The product will absorb into the material and weaken the adhesive, after which the paper will easily go away, and with it a sticky layer.
  4. A good result is the use of a diluent for varnish. We put it on an interfering label so that the paper is well soaked, and after 10 minutes we try to remove the product.
  5. To erase particularly persistent formulations, you can try the lotions from alcohol or a means for removing varnish. The main thing is to thoroughly impregnate the sticker, then removing it will not be very difficult.
  6. One of the most effective, but safe options is the use of wet wipes with disinfectant properties. Just cover the problem area with several products at once, try to soak up the paper. Every 10 minutes we try to clean the surface, if necessary, we report napkins.

Tip: When using a variant with napkins, it is recommended to pre-sprinkle the sticker with fine salt. Then the glue does not curl up and without problems will depart from the plastic.

  1. When working with a very delicate or colored surface, it is better to first just try to clean the sticker with a clean eraser. Use only the softest side! Traces of the eraser without problems are removed with a soft cloth soaked in soapy water.

All these products are highly efficient and allow you to remove the label without leaving a trace, without damaging the plastic surface.

Means with which you can wash off the adhesive from a sticker from an

plastic object. If the field of such actions on the surface of the material remains glue, you can try removing it using one of the following products:

  • The residue of the composition dissolves the peanut butter. Apply the product directly to the sticky residue and after a few minutes wash it off with a soap solution. If necessary, repeat the approach several times.
  • To clean the spools of glue, prepare the paste from soda and a little warm water. We apply the agent to the problem area, slightly three surfaces, wait a few minutes and wash off the mass together with the sticky substance.
  • Persistent and unyielding glue will help remove 90% isopropyl alcohol. Apply the composition to the fabric and three spots from the adhesive for a few minutes, if necessary, update the liquid.
  • In extreme cases, you can try specialized industrial degreasers. But they are recommended to use only in small areas, becausethey are able to change the color and even the texture of the plastic. Immediately after treatment, the material should be thoroughly washed with soap and water.
  • If the adhesive is a very thin layer, then it can be acted upon by a nail polish remover, which contains acetone. The product should be evenly applied to the problem area, and after 5 minutes rub it with soft circular motions.

It will be much easier to remove the compound if you take into consideration the following recommendations:

  1. In some cases, a toothbrush can be used instead of a rag or a sponge, this tool removes the smallest particles of glue.
  2. The adhesive layer will depart faster if between the approaches using chemical reagents the composition is exposed to hot steam or warm air from the hair dryer.
  3. Do not abandon the mechanical impact. If the layer of glue is very thick, then first a significant part of it needs to be removed with a razor.

After the desired result is achieved, the treated surface must be thoroughly dried. Within a few days after the treatment, the site will have to be checked for the presence of adhered dust. If a particular zone is quickly contaminated, this indicates that the sticky layer has not been completely removed. In this case, you need to reapply one of the selected methods.
