5. Above each of the keys there are elastic contacts. Take them off. It is important to carefully fold them to not lose.
6. Remove the keys by grasping the latch with a screwdriver. On the keys Shift or Enter there are also metal clips. For this reason, show maximum accuracy by removing the buttons.
7. Fold the keys in a plastic bag, cover with a detergent and mix. Do not remove them from the bag, rinse under running water.
8. Clean the base of the keyboard with a cold water jet and clean it with a toothbrush.

How to assemble the keyboard after cleaning?

After the base of the keyboard and buttons are washed, they must be carefully dried. Assemble in the reverse order:

1. Insert the keys.
2. Place elastic contacts on each of the buttons.
3. Reinstall the construction board.

Perhaps the laptop keyboard just needs a preventive cleaning. To do this, do not necessarily send the gadget to the workshop. You can manage this problem yourself. We'll figure out how to pull the buttons out of the laptop keyboard, and then collect it back.

Unlike the old technique, the buttons on modern equipment have a flat shape. The notebook key can be divided into 4 parts:

1. The upper part is a plate with two slots and a latch in the bottom part.

1. Pry the bottom edge of the key with a screwdriver.
2. Gently pull the lower levers out of the grooves. It is quite easy to do this. It is enough to press the place where the antennae is connected, and they will leave the grooves.

Important! It often happens that the small keys after such manipulations pop up themselves. If this does not happen, the upper plate is removed with tweezers or with the help of fingers.

1. Now about how to parse the keyboard in the space bar. The mechanism of the large "space" key is slightly different from the small buttons. Along the edges of the long key is fixed by means of two latches. There is an additional latch, which is located along the entire length of the key. To remove a large button, first detach the side amplifiers, then remove the amplifiers near the bottom edge of the button( in the direction from left to right).The further order of actions is the same as with the small keys.

How to assemble the keyboard after cleaning?

If all the fasteners and grooves remain intact, you can install the button in place without much difficulty:

1. Attach the button to the desired location.
2. Align it and press until it clicks.

The button will sit in its place as if it had not been removed. If the button did not snap, the mount was likely damaged.

Important! The order of setting the "space" key is slightly different. First, you need to insert the metal amplifiers in the grooves of the base. Then set the key back. First click on the top edge, and then click on the bottom until you hear a click.

All work on the disassembly of the laptop keyboard must be done with utmost care. Repairing the mounts is quite difficult, and replacing the keyboard, especially on the laptop, can become unplanned, but very costly for the wallet.
