She studied his work and realized that she wanted to create something similar in her home. Gaban works on the edge - he creates bright and bold visual solutions, and if you step over a little more, then real kitsch will come out. Interiors from the designer breathe confidence and style, but at the same time the brightness is moderate, 100% corresponding to the creative nature of the owners of the apartment.
Initially, there was not enough space in the apartments (and there were two of them) - Valeria and Joseph decided to connect two neighboring apartments in order to get a lot of space. At the same time, they faced a number of difficulties and the need to coordinate many details, because there were not many common openings in the premises.
As a result of the work performed, two functional areas appeared in the apartment - a kitchen and a living room, a library, rooms for Valeria and Joseph, as well as a bathroom and a dressing room. In the second zone there are guest rooms and a dining room - this solution allows you not to walk guests through the entire apartment - this is very convenient.
One of the effects used by the designer is the artificial aging of mirrors. In general, mirrors occupy an important place in the interior and are its main part, and they perfectly complement the overall atmosphere and are combined with designer furniture. Despite the fact that mirrors practically do not perform their main function, they visually expand the space.
Rooms of Valeria and Joseph Prigogine
In the first and main half there are rooms of the owners of the apartment - the bedroom of Valeria and Joseph, as well as study rooms and space for relaxation. The whole space is well thought out - there is enough space for everyone to live and work.
In one of the interviews, Iosif Prigogine said that when all the furniture was brought, he was set skeptical - it seemed to him that the apartment would be overly bright and pretentious, but the result of his pleasant surprised.
When decorating the daughter's bedroom, several color accents were made, but they go well with each other, despite the seemingly obvious mismatch. A similar effect is achieved by "diluting" with white.
Valeria and Joseph designed their bedroom more concisely, but at the same time stylishly. For her, dark shades and expensive details were chosen.
Iosif spends a lot of time in his office, so he did not save money when designing it and chose only the best for himself. The room has designer furniture from popular showrooms, and all the details are perfectly combined with each other. The space was created in such a way that it is convenient to communicate with clients, discuss the details of cooperation and develop new projects.
At first glance, it may seem that all the rooms are decorated beautifully, but are not interconnected, but this is not the case. The overall concept of the entire design is a repetition of the elements of a luxury yacht. Valeria and Iosif, walking around the rooms, can feel like travelers who have settled on a giant yacht and sail somewhere, this is the feeling created by the combination of mirrors, bright colors and soft forms. Very soft and comfortable Arabic-style L-shaped sofas with velvet upholstery and patterns on the back were chosen for the living room.
