Autonomous water supply Is a wonderful addition to private home ownership. Think for yourself: even if your well contains not drinking water, but only industrial water, how much money can you save on washing, cleaning, watering the garden and vegetable garden. So if there is such an opportunity, you shouldn't even think about the well. You just need to decide where to place the well: on the site or inside the house itself, as many do? At first sight, well right under the house is very convenient, but don't jump to conclusions.

How wells are drilled under the house

The well can be drilled if the house has already been built. Compact drilling rigs are used for this purpose. Their capacity is low, the process is very long, and the diameter of the well will be minimal. It is not very convenient, but there is no choice in such a situation. The depth in this case is also limited, and the result can be achieved only if the aquifer does not lie too deep. If on the way to it there is a boulder lying in the ground, the problem will be insoluble. In addition, everything that is extracted from the well will have to be manually carried from the house.

And finally, the cost of such drilling will be approximately 1.5–2 times higher. So you need to mentally and financially prepare for all these difficulties.

If the house has not yet been built, but you decided to make a well under it, then it will be easier to resolve the issue. For work, you can order a car with a drilling rig and, after drilling, start building a house. The disadvantage of such a decision is that as soon as a structure is erected around the well, you automatically lose the warranty on it.

What problems arise when operating a well under a house

At first glance it seems that if warm well, under the house, and is located in the basement, then it is extremely convenient to maintain and use it.

And yet there is a problem, and not one, but two. Imagine: suddenly there is no water in the well. What's the matter? It could get silted up, the pocket could be covered with rock, or there could be a problem with the submerged piece of equipment.

In any case, you first need to get the pump to find out the reason. If the well is shallow, within 10 meters, this is not difficult. But if it goes deeper, then you will find a whole epic of torment in a confined space. Did you manage to get a heavy pump, but the problem turned out to be siltation? We'll have to call specialists.

And they solve this problem by flushing, that is, by pumping water into the well, as a result of which a fountain of mud will flow from it - and it's all in your basement!PHOTO: ufa.tiu.ru

And the second problem that will await you when installing a well inside the house is noise. The vibrating pump, even at great depths, emits a sound that penetrates the walls of the pipe into your home and will literally harass you every day. If the pump was operating outside, you would not hear it.

And what do we have in the bottom line? Torment with drilling, high costs or no guarantee. Plus constant difficulties in operation and intrusive noise. Are there any pluses? One: the well does not rain.

But, on the other hand, the problem of rain can be solved by installing a structure above the well outside the house, right? And as a bonus, you will not get any problems with drilling and maintenance. The only thing you need to carry out communications to the house from the well. Even taking into account the costs of them, the result will come out more economical.
