A video broadcast goes to the remote control at a distance of 100 meters, if between these two "points" there are no barriers and Wi-Fi networks. The console, by the way, is not completely waterproof - it still rains, but immersion in turbulent waters is unlikely, and it's pointless to test it in an aquatic environment, the radio does not work there. But the camera itself can be immersed in these same waters in its waterproof box. Funny effect when shooting: the box acts like a membrane, increasing the volume of all sounds. Especially good and clear was heard, as I took boxing in my hand.
Video shooting
The camera shoots in NTSC system, clips in. mp4 format, photos in JPEG format. There are several modes with different frame sizes and bitrates( there are HDRs), but most of all I like the 1920 mode at 1080, but instead of the logical frame rate of 60, there is a maximum of 45 for some reason. Motion catches, but when there are many moving objects around,shows a barely noticeable rolling effect.
With the exposure of white balance, there is no need to mess around, automatic is quite suitable. Night illuminated objects removes normally. The capacity of the battery is slightly more than two hours of continuous shooting( exactly 147 minutes, according to the manufacturer).
Another X-Ride Ultra HD can also be used as a camera. The frame size is up to 5312 by 2988. Another camera can be used as a DVR with USB power.
Software
The camera has an HDMI port, it can stream video stream directly to the computer. There is also a wireless adapter, but it only works in conjunction with the supplied remote control. That is, you have no control from mobile and other new-fangled stuff. In fact, there are several questions to the camera firmware, for example, why is the video quality slightly worse than GoPro if the same chip is used? Or, where does the noise on the audio track come from, when in reality the shooting took place in silence.

The main question that you should ask yourself before buying an action camera - what do you plan to shoot? If you do not want to overpay for GoPro, then take X-Ride Ultra HD and do not go wrong. Stars from the sky, this small camera is not enough, but it has a good viewing angle, is easy to navigate and the video turns out to be of acceptable quality, and more is not necessary for home photography. In addition, it is light and it can easily be fixed on a vehicle or on its own headgear. For racing drivers or those who are going to drive on a very jolting surface X-Ride Ultra HD will not work, because the picture will be unstable.
The main advantage of this camera is the price. Compared with the more famous brands, you get not one device, but a bunch of additional accessories, including a very handy remote with a screen, whose presence on the hand saves both nerves and time.
