On the upper tier there was only one bedroom and a study. However, Svetlana Zakharova insisted on buying a two-story apartment.
Reconstruction and repair details
After buying the apartment, Svetlana Zakharova started a full-scale reconstruction of the penthouse. She invited the famous architect Sergei Dryazzhin to decorate the interior. The ground floor has been completely redecorated and the rooms have been filled with antique pieces of furniture and branded décor.
In order to highlight the functional areas, the floors in the apartment were made at different levels. Light marble was chosen as the finishing coating, thanks to which the rooms began to look even more spacious. In the living room, a musical corner was designed on a dais, and a comfortable and spacious storage system was equipped inside the podium.
Chamber living room with sails
Living room decorated in white and beige tones with gold splashes. Large windows are decorated with translucent curtains. They are successfully complemented by fabrics hanging freely from above and creating the feeling of a sailing ship in the ocean. Wall and ceiling surfaces are decorated with luxurious frescoes in soft beige tones. Intricate patterns, hand-painted by artists, visually enlarge the space. The impression of endless ceilings extending into the distance is created.
Philippe Starck sofas and armchairs were installed in the living room. Porcelain plates, a massive table of the forties of the last century, made of bronze, and a unique mirror with curly legs act as decor. The walls are decorated with luxurious paintings by Russian masters, which Svetlana Zakharova has been collecting for decades.
Not so long ago, the hostess of the house ordered designer shelving and an original table with a stand in the form of puffs of smoke.
Elegant kitchen-dining room
The dining room is located just behind the living room on a small elevation. The main place in the room is occupied by an elegant glass top table and snow-white chairs with comfortable backs. The highlight of the interior is a designer chandelier in the shape of a golden dome that illuminates the dining area.
Next to the dining area, there is a kitchen equipped with the latest science and technology. A glass-ceramic surface is placed on a stone tabletop, above which an elegant powerful hood rises. The doors are supplemented with silent closers, the shelves of the cabinets are equipped with convenient storage systems.

Second floor decoration
From the living room to the second floor there is a solid wood staircase covered with a protective matte varnish. Svetlana also used the space under the march competently. She installed storage systems here and equipped a small utility block.
The architect managed to equip on the upper tier private bedroom and three for children. They also made a small relaxation room in which the whole family loves to gather in the evenings to watch TV. The interior is decorated in a quieter, intimate atmosphere with dark undertones.
