You can tighten it with any cloth for your taste, velvet of bright color will look rich. Top kokoshnika - comb, decorated with beads, beads, gilded threads. Behind the headdress is fixed using a tape sewn on both sides.

Kokoshnik with your own hands made of cardboard:

  1. First you need to make a pattern, you can choose the right option on the Internet and print it on the printer.
  2. The base is cut from the cardboard. It can be used as a pattern to fabricate the fabric from the fabric for the front and the underside.

Important! Do not forget to consider allowances, it is enough to leave 1-2 cm.

  1. Finished details of the front and the underside are stitched together, but leave the bottom edge unsplit.
  2. The resulting blank is pulled onto a cardboard base and the bottom edge is sewn.

  3. Then the base is cut from the cardboard. It will be firmly pressed to the head and be in an upright position.
  4. 2 items are cut from the fabric( upper and lower). As a pattern, you need to use a cardboard base.
  5. The cardboard base is sewn to the metal rim with thick threads.
  6. The same principle is used to make a comb. Cut out the cardboard pattern, the fabric details of the facial crest and its back, and the base is sewed to the wire.
  7. The upper base, the comb and the back of the fabric are sewn together, then stretched over the top of the kokoshnik.
  8. Then the bottom base is sewn.
  9. Sewing tapes - they need to be stitched very carefully.
