According to a survey conducted by the international association TAFISA in 200 countries around the world, tennis is one of the top 10 most popular sports. And therefore it is not surprising that the ratings of the best tennis players of the planet cause such a keen interest. Today we publish the final rating of tennis players( ATP) 2012 as of November 12 this year.

The Association of Tennis Professionals( ATP) has been ranking players in its present form since 2009.According to the method of rating calculation, each tennis player is read out a maximum of 18 best results demonstrated during the season.

Rating of tennis players for today is the most significant in the world of big tennis, because the Association is the organizer of the most prestigious tournament cycle ATP-tour.

By the way, the results shown in the Grand Slam Tournament are taken into account when counting with the maximum weight, although this competition cycle does not belong to ATP.

Final rating of tennis players of 2012:

In the Top-30 ranking of tennis players was Russian Mikhail Yuzhny. The first hundred ATPs included Nikolay Davydenko( 43rd place), Andrei Kuznetsov( 79th), Eugene Donskoy( 97th) and Sergei Stakhovsky( 100th place).

Among the Ukrainian tennis players the best was Alexander Dolgopolov, who took the 18th line of the rating. Dolgopolov became the only Ukrainian in the Top 100.

Well, the leader of the ATP rating is not the first time the Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic - the first racket of the world in singles, the five-time winner of the Grand Slam tournaments and the winner of the finals of the ATP World Tour in 2008.For the first time Djokovic topped the rating of ATP tennis players in 2011.
