Sergei Ashikhmin at the age of 16 came to conquer Moscow from Arkhangelsk and for a long time lived in rented apartments in the sleeping areas of the capital. Success at the "Star Factory" and participation in the "Yin-Yang" group brought the singer with distinctive vocals not only popularity, but also long-awaited material well-being.
The artist bought a spacious apartment of 213 sq. m on the 11th floor of an elite high-rise located on Novy Arbat. To design a four-room apartment, Sergey Ashikhmin turned to a design studio for help. As the basic style, the designers chose classicism with elements of luxury, which was supplemented with modern details.
Palace style begins in the hallway
The walls of the hall and the spacious corridor are decorated with Venetian plaster with striking gold veins and fresco. Laid on the floor stacked parquetcovered with glossy varnish. The diagonal layout has increased the already rather big space.
Striking the arched ceiling made of drywall, with spot illumination. There are two halls that are illuminated by sumptuous gold-framed chandeliers adorned with crystal droplets. The corridor is decorated with spectacular semi-columns on both sides.
The palace style continued in the living room. A plasterboard structure is mounted on the perimeter ceiling and is framed with spectacular moldings. The room is illuminated by an elegant fountain-shaped chandelier made of gold and crystal pendants, which is complemented by spotlights.
The living room is furnished with Italian furniture, the wooden legs of which resemble the paws of a lion. Floral print silk upholstery with gold trim, fringe and capitonné stitching. Complement the design graceful decorative pillows.
The wall in the recreation area is decorated with a spectacular fresco depicting a winged lion in a beige and milk tones with splashes of gold. Bay window panoramic window decorated delicate tulle, elegant sand-colored curtains and a lambrequin with tassels. The curtains are effectively selected at the bottom with the help of buttonholes.
Elegant kitchen
The kitchen had a non-standard configuration, so there was no talk of typical furniture. The designer has developed an individual sketch and fits perfectly headset into space. All cabinets are made of natural wood, painted in the shade of baked milk. The upper doors are decorated with frosted glass.
The floor is covered with natural light marble. The shelves and the bottom panel of solid wood furniture act as a contrast. All doors are equipped with silent closers and are decorated with gilded knobs. The table top is made of quartz agglomerate in a delicate blue color. It goes well with the snow-white tiles on the apron.
The kitchen is equipped with modern multifunctional household appliances. Above the glass-ceramic hob is installed powerful domed hood. The dining area features elegant chairs in provence style with turquoise upholstery and a classic natural wood table.
Romantic bedroom
The interior of the bedroom is made in a combination of white with a hint of baked milk. This makes the room seem very delicate and airy. The main place is occupied by a large bed with a figured headboard and a footboard made of solid wood, decorated with patina. The bedspread is decorated with handmade lace.
The bedside tables are equipped with gold loop handles and patina. They feature elegant high-legged tabletop ramps with crisp white fabric lampshades. Next to the window is a modern synthesizer on which Sergei rehearses. The instrument is complemented by a microphone and an accompanist.
For the decoration of the windows, curtains of a light beige shade with large ornaments and tulle with a printed print in the form of gold embossing were chosen. There is a built-in large commander near the front door, in which the family keeps all their belongings.
Classic bathroom
Light beige marble was laid on the floor of the spacious bathroom. The Italian tiles on the walls were decorated with a border with a gold ornament. Classic chandeliers were installed on the ceiling. The frame was made of black metal and decorated with colored crystal pendants surrounded by graceful petals.
A rectangular deep bath was placed on the podium. A large niche with lighting for cosmetic accessories was made on the wall next to it. A dressing table with a cut-in sink was placed near the entrance. The facades were artificially aged and decorated with gilding. A large mirror and elegant sconces with black shades were hung over it.
Children's room
Sergey Ashikhmin lives with his common-law wife and her two children. A room was equipped for them with wall bars, horizontal bar and ropes. A special covering made of natural fibers was laid on the floor so that the children would not be injured during outdoor games.
The room was equipped with classic bookcases and equipped a small work area near the window. A comfortable sofa with a high back was placed for relaxation. Bay windows were decorated with snow-white tulle and thick chocolate-colored curtains.
