Barricades of furniture and plumbing will hardly improve your mood in the morning! It is much more practical to use things combined in functionality. For example, install heated towel rail with a shelf - this way you will save much-needed space in a modest room. In addition, the towels on this shelf will always be dry! It would be wiser to buy a sink that already has a storage system inside. There are dozens of pull-out and fold-out options for both oversized sinks and mirrors.
Mixing functional areas
Even at the stage of zoning the space, understand one golden rule - equipment related to one functional zone should be located in this zone. For example, don't place your heated towel rail away from the bathroom. And the towel hooks away from the sink. Everything should be at arm's length. For example, you can easily reach the towel hook directly from the shower.
If there is a technical possibility, then the sink is better placed closer to the exit. This is the equipment that is used the most in the bathroom. Errors in calculating the installation of plumbing, in particular, non-compliance with the slope rule - 1 cm for each meter towards the drain will complicate the drainage of used water and will gradually lead to stagnation and blockages. Obsolete materials
Tiles with flowers or boats, alas, have already lost their novelty. Sometimes what you think is fashionable, unfortunately, is morally outdated. Do not use bright colors for the veneer. In this case, you will make exactly the interior that will not become outdated even after a decade. Such forays into exhibition pavilions will allow you to choose a modern bathroom, sink, faucets, other plumbing fixtures and other elements of space decoration.
The combination of different materials in the design of the bathroom

But here the most important thing is not to overdo it, it is best to use no more than three shades in the interior. Two of them should be neutral and only one accent. If there are too many accents, then you will achieve only one thing - the heap effect.

The ill-conceived storage of soap dishes, toothbrushes, cups and other little things in the bathroom was never considered a sign of good taste. Overloaded open shelves, piles of bottles and flasks can cancel out all your efforts at once. Depending on the size of the bathroom, storage options can be organized in different ways. If the area is large enough, then shelves and cabinets can be placed wherever you want. If space is limited, it is best to use upright shelf options.
